Chapter 45: The ceremony gone wrong

"What is this request," Reina inquired from him. 

The king remained by the queen's side but he was more curious about the request than anyone else. He had the urge to give the man everything that the man needed. 

Marcus lowered his gaze, he wanted to make the request to save his family from seeing the reality of his life. But he was a bit hesitant, the queen wasn't his biggest fan and the king seem to be dancing to her tunes.

He drew the map of the kingdom with his feet, he could not find the voice to let out what he wanted. "I wa..wanted to ask you to…"

The queen took a seat waiting for him to finish what he wanted to say to her. Her mind wondered off to the thoughts of the vampire king. The sweet way in which the male made her feel special in just a small time was so beautiful.
