Chapter 47: A Plan Work

"How did you leave the camp? Janice wasn't there?"

Zyla is interviewing Selena with numerous questions. Trying to express the degree of curiosity in her.

"We all placed her in a very deep sleep of about three days. Carl and Sonia are around this forest also looking for you. We parted, just to find you"

Her calmness relieves Zyla in a hundred folds. But her next question makes her shiver.

"Why didn't you get back to us?"

"I knew Janice's plan is to wipe out all the wolves but these are innocent"

"Are you saying this because they acted nice?"

"No. I am saying it because I know it. They would never do anything to hurt us humans. Even if wolves killed our clan, it's their ancestors, not them"

Selena tries to not believe this... But... She can't.

Zyla has never spoken ever so gently and sincerely before, something must have taken place in the short time that she have spent here.

"And why did that wolf ask you to stay back?"
