Chapter 22: Be careful

"What was that?"

"What was what?"

"That!" Gandrel nearly yells pointing at the door which Haley just led Zyla out from.

"She wanted to act stubborn so-"

"Act stubborn? Really Prince? Really?"

Zadok rolls his eyes waiting for the explosive to land on him any time now.

"Zyla just wanted to know what was going on, why are you acting like this?"

"She didn't just want to know... She knows it's a plan work already! Didn't you hear how she replied to me? In a total ignorant and... Argh!" Zadok feels like breaking someone like a stick and into pieces.

"You are overreacting, Zadok. Look at it the bright way-"

"There is no bright way, Gandrel!"

Lorn and Gandrel would have jumped out of their skin if they had the power to.

"Can't you see? Anytime I try to make myself convinced that there is a bright way, I end up getting disappointed! How am I to know that this human is not going abandon me as the rest did?!"
