Chapter 441: Fortunate

"Looks like the Marquis and the Marchioness are waiting at the gate," Dem said. "They surely do love you."

"I'm lucky," I said, looking out the window and waving at them. 

"Be careful," he said and pulled me towards him and sat me down, so I would not fall when the carriage stopped. "You are really… Why don't you be a bit more careful?"

"You are here," I grinned. 

"You cannot do this depending on me. What if I don't notice and you get hurt?"

"That won't happen. You always look out for me," I said with a smile. 

Dem got down first and helped me get down as well. Now, I got so used to being treated like a Queen all the time that how I was normally felt unreal to me. I was the kind of person who got way too engrossed in a certain way of living that I ended up forgetting who I had been before. 

Dem said it was okay since I was not going to go back to that life again.
