I had been in the middle of a dungeon, clearing my path towards the boss, when this message had appeared. Six days before everything starts, I finally had a date, yet, somehow, even though I had expected all of this to begin weeks ago, it still felt like it was happening much too soon.

"Six days," I muttered, my hands curling into fists as I let a deep sigh out, staring ahead. I was ready, I would be ready, I was preparing for him, and while I would be the first one to candidly admit I was anxious, I would not let that blind me.

I had a goal, and I would accomplish it, by any means necessary.

{Sir, I must apologize for the intrusion. But, we have just received notice of Knull's awakening, and I wanted to know if you wanted us to do something about it. I personally recommend informing the others, to ensure maximum efficiency.} Jarvis said through our link, snapping me out of my long reverie.

"Yes, do that," I replied.

{At last, alone. You have no idea how annoying he is. Anyways, preparations from my side are ready, the drones exceed even my own expectations, which is to say a lot. The question now is… are you ready for him?} Ultron asked.

"As ready as I'll ever be," I replied with a soft chuckle. "Then again, in six days I'll be stronger and more ready than I was before, so that statement it's never really accurate."

{Very well then. I will leave you be, but before that, I have one proposition to make, a last-minute thing.} Ultron replied.

"What?" I asked.

{I will command your drones, while Jarvis will command your golems, you have your two generals, but you lack someone to command those in flesh. I would offer to do it, but as much as it pains me to admit, if I take those two fronts, the results would be mediocre at best, as the splitting of my focus would lower my performance below acceptable levels. For optimal results, I suggest you get another general.} Ultron replied, his tone even as he went right to the point. {I took the liberty of making a list of the most optimal candidates for this position within your social circle, narrowing it down to three candidates.}

That would be a good idea, and it would take a big load off my shoulders.

"What are your suggestions?" I asked, curious about his list.

{The Ancient One, Hela, and Odin. They all have experience leading armies and people, one way or another, and are connected to you, one way or another. They are nominated based on data we have about them, and multiple simulations I ran to determine their possible performance.

The parameters I took into account for these analyses were powers, personality, military efficiency, adaptability, and loyalty. The Ancient One being the best candidate based on her unyielding loyalty to you, however, Hela and Odin have more military experience than her, making up for their glaring flaws.

Hela being more loyal to you than Odin, thanks to her infatuation.

All and all, all candidates bring something to the table, and all are acceptable options.}

The Ancient One, Hela, and Odin. I might take all of them, each one leading a different front.

"I think I will take them all," I replied. As Ultron had said, they all brought something to the table.

{....Not the result I was expecting. But I can see how you came to that conclusion. Very well then, in that case, allow me to analyze their data, adding this new turn of events to my forecasting calculations, so that I can offer you an efficiency forecasting report as to which parts of the living army they would lead most efficiently, based their individual experience, powers, and other miscellaneous factors.} Ultron replied after a brief moment of silence.

"Do it fast, we only have six days to finalize preparations," I replied, accepting his proposal.

{Don't worry, I will deliver my report to you before the day ends.} Ultron replied, closing our call, in a manner of speaking.

I chuckled, I was truly glad I had decided to use those two. They were really making my life remarkably easier.

"Six days…" I muttered, opening the quest/event notification again. This time, the last line of information, catching my attention.

[For additional information about Knull and his lore /press/ (?)]

Never before I had had a quest that offered additional information and or lore.

I am intrigued.

"Imma press it," I said, mentally tapping the (?) button, to see what it would show me.

[Lore Log - 314/7-AA.

Long, long ago, during the third iteration of the cosmos, the Anti-All, someone, something darker than a yawning, starless night came to be from the depths of oblivion, a terrifying being formed from living darkness, a draconic cosmic entity that embodied the realms of destruction, darkness, chaos, and non-existence.

He was darkness itself, and the end of everything.

But wherever there is darkness, there will always be light to be found as well.

The Lifebringer One, the first hero came to be, after all, darkness cannot exist without light. A being formed from the living light, a cosmic being that embodied the realms of creation, light, order, and existence.

He was life itself, and the beginning of everything.

The two beings battled for eons until eventually, their seemingly endless battle came to an end with the sacrifice of the Lifebringer One, who gave his life, his existence to destroy his antithesis, the Anti-All, once and for all, shattering the cosmic dragon into multiple pieces.

With this, the story of the first hero came to an end.

However, even in death, the darkness the Anti-All had embodied would forever haunt the cosmos, as his scattered fragments gave rise to various incarnations of what remained of him, such as Knull, and the Chaos King.

End of Log - 314/7-AA.]

The Lifebringer one…

"The item Gaia gave me," I muttered, at the realization.

[Alex Walker POV]

[149 HOURS BEFORE KNULL.]

I had six days to become my absolute strongest.

"Stats," I said, opening my character sheet.

I was level 3279, and I had yet to use the boons of the living tribunal, meaning I still had one hundred and twenty levels to be gained at any given moment, in addition to over one hundred thousand stat points saved; I had yet to allocate.

The boons of the living tribunal I was planning to use only if Knull's level proved to be higher than mine upon his release. The same applied to the stats I had been saving, which I planned to allocate in either LUCK or DEX, depending on the situation.

From this point forward, every single move and thought mattered; now more than ever. I had to make the most of every moment out of every little second.

"Let's fucking do this," I muttered, entering a new dungeon, after all. There were only one hundred and forty-nine hours left, and I planned to make each second in them count.

—------------------------

[?????? POV]

In just six days, Alex would face Knull.

Unlike previous events, though, he seems to be more prepared for what is to come, so I am glad for that.

"It's been a while since you last spied on Alex," My companion snickered, to which I simply rolled my eyes at her.

"I have other things to do, every now and then." I shrugged, summoning a few cans of Coke and Pepsi. I wonder if Mimir would want one, he seems lonely, the last time he had any visitors was when I gave him his body back.

"Will he defeat Knull?" My companion asked, grabbing one of my drinks without even asking. The audacity I tell you! I can't even!

"No idea how strong is Knull, to be honest," I replied, summoning a safe to put my drinks in while giving my companion a narrowed look.

"Really?" My companion asked, in seeming shock.

"Yes! It's not about the soda, it's about the principles!" I nodded, summoning another safe with a safe inside for my safe. Just in case.

"W-what? No! I mean about Knull!" My companion groaned.

"Oh, that? Well, yeah, no idea how strong he is, I mean, I know how strong he isn't, but that's not an accurate bar to measure anything," I replied with a nod.

"But, aren't you like…. Older than the universe?" My companion asked, tilting her head to the side in confusion.

"How old are you?" I asked, taking a sip of my drink.

"A bit over three hundred years old, why?" My companion answered, with a quizzical look on her face, her lips forming a thin line.

"Do you know everyone under three hundred years, in the whole universe?" I asked with a deadpan.

"I… huh, I see your point. But aren't you omniscient and stuff? Like, as powerful as the Beyonder and stuff?" My companion asked, golly fucking jeez with this lady, and her questions.

"First of all, yes, I am omniscient, but that's an optional power. I prefer not knowing shit, it makes life interesting, knowing everything about everything would make immortality a hell to live with, as for the Beyonder comment, I can spank that Michael Jackson wannabe any day of the week," I nodded, I was, after all, speaking facts.

"But you said you didn't know how a battle between the two of you would end last time…" My increasingly annoying companion remarked.

I sighed, "Yes, yes I did. But that's mostly because I am using an avatar, and there's only so much power you can put into a construct of energy, so… yeah."

"Oh… well fuck," My companion sighed, rubbing her temples. "So, will you help him this time?"

"No," I replied. I had no intentions of helping Alex to overcome this challenge, besides, I had already helped him in the roots of Yggdrasil.

"Hm, ok," My companion nodded with a sigh, before turning to look at me and ask. "Can I have another drink?"

"No! You had your chance!" I replied, summoning another safe, to put my safe elevated to three inside.

—---------------------------------

[Hela Odinsdottir POV]

I might not be able to kill Odin, because Thor, my little brother, likes the putrid bastard enough to protect him, but I had my ways to get the closest thing to a fulfilling revenge against him.

I had convinced Sif to take Gungnir as her weapon, after convincing Thor, to convince her.

Now, all I had to do was wait for Odin to find out that his weapon was no longer his.

I could almost giggle in anticipation.

But I would not.

I had standards to keep.

"You think Sif will be okay?" Thor asked, a frown of worry dawning on his face.

I nodded, scrutinizing his broken body, the newly acquired wounds, and the gains he had obtained since then. I was honestly surprised he was still standing, he was more wounds than God right now.

"She will, I trained her, and I am certain she has what it takes to overcome this challenge," I added, taking a deep breath as I looked at the box, before turning my eyes back on him, asking. "You've been pushing yourself a lot, haven't you?"

At this question, he beamed at me for who knows what reason, his laughter echoing across the castle like a roar, "I have!"

"In any case. I must go, like you, I have some training to complete," I said, giving the box of truth one last look before turning around. Sif would be okay, and so would be Thor.

Right now I needed to focus on regaining my full power.

After all, spending a few thousand years locked in a cage had significantly weakened my abilities. In turn, making me overly reliant on the Odin Force I once had.

A revoltingly glaring flaw I aimed to fix before the war began.

"Take care sis!" Thor gushed as I left the room.

….. I will let that comment slide.

"And don't worry! I will take care of myself!" Thor added, in the same silly happy tone.

"I do not care," I replied, rolling my eyes.

"Yes, you do! You are just shy~ But I know you care! I saw the love in your face when you said I was pushing myself too hard~" Thor replied, singing his words out. "Don't worry though! I love you too~"

Note to self, next time spray salt and lemon over his wounds.
