Chapter 4: Discarding a genius
Diane's POV
At first I was happy when I was told that my child was a boy. Boys are know for having higher mana reserves as compared to girls. They are also known to be more combat proficient, so I was hoping to train my son in combat, etiquette and socializing. With that done he will be one of the best candidates. This dream of raising him to be the perfect candidate is now completely shattered.
The child possess no mana. What am suppose to do with him? Although mana deficiency is a problem known to affect commoners nobody including commoners have been born without even little amount mana.
Usually the royal family and Nobility are born with huge amounts of mana, this is what sets them apart from commoners but now a Royal has been born without any mana. This child has turned out to be a disgrace to my family. I have to fix this problem before the news spreads around the Kingdom.
Crystal's POV.
Her Royal Highness mood has become warring. She has summoned me again. I am now standing in front of her and she is not looking happy.
"Crystal. I need you to go and take that child to the forest of monsters and leave it there."
When I heard this words I was shocked with what the princess was telling me. She then noticed my shock, and as if she read my mind she continued by saying .
"Do not worry, there is a mansion in the forest that belongs to me. I do not want you to leave the child in the forest but at the mansion. You are to take care of the child. I will send some staff to help you care for the child. I am hoping that the magic around the area will help him grow since the forest is a magic rich area."
I then eased my mind thinking that she maybe wants the child's magic to grow very strong. I then prepared myself for the trip. We then departed the next day with some hired adventures whom were to act as bodyguards against the monsters.
Gene's POV
It has been heck of a day. First I wake up in some place which is unfamiliar to me then I find out that somehow Liza has been installed into my brain then I find out that my soul has been transferred into another dimension and dumped into the body of a child whom had been born dead this is after me myself meeting my own demise in my own dimension. I am somehow amazed at how all this is possible. At first I did not believe what Liza was telling me but then I remembered the QuFreDis malfunctioning and exploding.
For now my AI is in my mind so that was at least comforting. So far the people here have been conversing in a language I could not understand but after hearing a few conversations I have started picking up the language. It also helps that Liza can change brainwaves and translate it to an understandable form i.e she can convey the intentions of somebody but she cannot read somebody's thoughts.
Through the conversations I have heard, I have surmised that I am the child of a high person in this society, most probably a Royal since this is place seems to have a monarchial government and it seems that I am not wanted therefore they are trying to get rid of me.
The next day I was taken by the first woman whom I saw when I first arrived in this world. Her intent seemed prideful like that of one bestowed a great mission. We were then put in a horse drawn carriage like that one used in medieval Europe. There were two people accompanying us one was huge built up man with a scary looking face while the other was a tall slender woman. These people I suppose are the people who are suppose to kill me since Liza could sense killing intent coming from them.
I asked Liza what I could do for protection against them. She then said there is nothing I could do since the body I was in had not developed. I was a sitting duck. All she could do is concentrate the electron energy that had accumulated in my soul around the body I was in. She said this would take 3 minutes for completion. I asked her how I obtained the electron energy. She said when my body was vaporized by that wave of energy from the qufredis explosion. My soul was ejected and the energy around me absorbed and in the process Liza's electronic code absorbed with it. My soul then jumped through the part of the gate that was still open. That was how I come to this world and that is how my soul contains electron energy. She said that concentrating the electron energy was possible and this would form a protective layer that would prevent me from receiving mechanic damage due to it causing charging and repulsion of the air around me and objects around me, but this was risky since I would not be able to breath. during this process. I decided to tell her to hold on until the time that I was truly in danger. Liza also informed that their was foreign energy being emitted by the people of this world. So she told me she was not sure if the electron energy would be enough to protect me. All I could do was wait for them to attack and hope that the electron energy is enough protection so that they may fail in achieving there objective of Killing me.
