Chapter 61: Wrong Place

After a grueling day at the training grounds, Jasem's weary body longed for rest in the comfort of his room. Tomorrow, he and Azzam were planning to visit the adventurers guild to recruit new members for their depleted unit. As he approached his door, a maid awaited him, her face beaming with warmth and respect.

"Welcome back, my lord!" she greeted, gracefully opening the door for him.

Weary from his training, Jasem entered his room without uttering a word, disregarding the maid's courteous gestures, until he closed the door behind him. All he desired was to collapse onto his bed and find solace in a moment of respite. However, his weariness dissipated when he caught sight of a captivating figure reclining on his bed. Samar, with her lustrous purple hair cascading around her, lay there, her body concealed beneath the silky sheets.

"Welcome back, my love," she whispered softly, her face flushed with anticipation.
