'The feeling of finally being free after being bound so heartlessly that you choose to run with all your might without looking back or shedding a tear. Now i see the birds sing and the spring is on time, clearly its here to give a new begining. Hoping aganist hope that my life won't be like it has these past years.' she thought tiredly.
She finally made it and couldn't help but smile triumphantly. The wind kept hitting aganist her face and her jade-like skin shone with the incoming spring, her heart beat was rhythmic as it sang the song of freedom.
Suddenly her phone rung and she was quick to reach it and answer "where are you now?" asked an eldery voice.
"Granny..." delight was evident in her voice, "i've reached B city, its so beautiful here, granny thank you so much" her childlike voice rung through the whole bus.
" I knew you would..."replied granny Rebecca, "now listen you bunny, i won't be there to protect you from now on , be good and don't go around getting into trouble. You hear me! Focus on healing, that's all you should do. Do whatever you like but don't be reckless!" she warned "There are many wolves and beasts out there but.... you now have to stand on your own. Don't think of the past or try coming back in this area or I'll see to it that your....." their brickering was back on track. Her worries were now over....ok almost, yeah almost over.
"Yes granny i understand but I'll still be back you know, am supposed to celebrate my birthdat next month.."
"You insolent little brat."
"Heheheheheh..."she couldn't help but giggle. They talked for a while "I love you granny."she said sadly. "I love you too little one." and then hung up. The bus had reached and it was time to get off, getting her suitcase, securing her backpack safely on her back she walked away from the bus station to a small building nearby and entered.
It was a small store with almost eveything ranging from clothes to jewels to edibles and electronics. She went to the counter and found a young man around her age, he was typing something on his laptop and when he noticed her, he did it....blushed!!. Never had he seen such an angel, baby face,cat eyes,tiny nose,plump rosy lips, he gulped. 'My dream girl!' his face continued to flush.
"Hello, am looking for Denis Goldman." she said emotionlessly.
'Too cold.' he shievered returning from dreamland and his flushed face turned pale. "Umm yes madam, how may i..... oh....oldman Denis....ah yes he...he's gone somewhere. Needed anything i can tell him." he offered stammering.
"The package."came her cold voice.
Hearing her talk of the package, he couldn't turn any paler. He assessed the figure before him and frowned slightly. That old geezer...ehem, grandpa of his had promised to end his life if he dared to even sneak a peek but on a serious note, he was warned to keep distance from the person that came to collect the package. "ah yes the package." he dived down behind the counter immediately and brought out a brown envelop which he handed to her, his hand slightly brushed aganist hers but she didn't even notice it and only continued to look at her package there was also a folded paper. Opening to read its contents, she shoved the envelop in her backpack "thanks." was all and she was out of the store.
She breathed in and sighed deeply, looking around at the new enviroment, it looked peaceful. Eveyone was busy with their work and the sun shone upon city B, the land of possibilities. " I'll make the most of my remaing days on earth. Yes i will!" she thought out loudly yet the sadness in her eyes couldn't be ignored. Running doesn't make your troubles go away...it only makes them haunt you even where you are.....it's a vicious cycle!
Putting on her signature cold persona, she walked along the street dragging her suitcase as she observed her new home area. After a couple of blocks, she reached her apartment building and stared at the four floored flat, walking in she went directly to her room which was on the third floor. Setting aside her suitcase, she squatted down after taking her back pack off, checking her bag, she pulled out the brown envelop and emptied its contents to collect the keys which she used to access the room. She scanned the house which had a KITCHEN, most importantly, others can wait.

She slumped on the couch in the sitting room and dosed off immediately without a care in the world.
Light seeping through the Windows, she forced her eyes shut not wanting to let the light in. 'How long have I been out?!' she thought.
Groaning in pain at her stiff neck because of her wierd sleeping posture she realised that it was day.....'damn I actually slept that long!' she chided herself. The growling of her stomach reminded her of the most important task of her existence....FOOD. Being awake, she stiffled a yawn as she dashed to the kitchen or her parasites would surely kill her but on opening the refrigerator to prepare something, there was only water. 'Water!!! Oh no,I forgot to go shopping!!!' she cried out.
Rushing to the bedroom she never got to see yesterday, she immediately went to the bathroom only to clean her face, tidy her hair and rushed to get her purse to a nearby restaurant maybe.
My name is Jenny, 21 years young and i am a runway...not really though. You might wonder why I ran but me remembering those memories will break me. I tried and did my best to fight but that was never a battle i could ever win so i cowered away to where i am. You know the saying "Cowards live longer" guess I now fall in that calibre.
