Lucas received two system notifications in his head while looking at the two rank 5 spirit beast corpses on the ground.

They looked like wolves; however, they were huge compared to the regular wolves. On their foreheads, there was a 'scythe' mark and their fur was pitch black.

If not for the fire torch in Lucas' hands, he could barely see them right now because it's nighttime.

'Phew…if one of them was a mid-level rank 5 spirit beast, they would have definitely defeated me. They are more powerful than regular rank 5 spirit beasts.'

Looking at the corpses, Lucas heaved a sigh of relief that their strength was only low-level rank 5.
