Chapter 35: TAHIRZA BOOK II

Synopsis...

Son of the Condor had walked in his mind for many moons in a row to the palace to tell everything. But he could never fulfill it, fate rudely prevented every attempt to tell the truth. He had also tried to jump over the wall and let everything go to hell: he could not do it either. Always at the last moment something or someone prevented it. He just couldn't do it. His life was to fight, to be summoned to the palace, to see Xixata and to fight and start the cycle, just like a snake biting its tail.

As the war dangerously stalled, Tahirza crawled all over the palace, while many watchful eyes for and against followed his every step attentively.

Blue Bird watched everything apprehensively and was now afraid to walk with the girl through the lonely and endless corridors of the palace. Now on the spring terrace, the kingdom seemed to be at peace..... It was evident that the presence of the girl reassured the gods. Tahirza was preparing to assume her destiny.

Blue Bird suddenly understood that the girl knew. Her laughter and the way she looked told him so. The girl was aware of everything and how to fix it. With that promise, Blue Bird went to sleep with a peace that she had not had in many years, even though she had not forgotten that premonitory dream that ended days later with the murder of her sister.

But the whispers of the gods of dreams told him that the events were not over. That soon more situations would come.

--Tahirza...Tahirza.... Queen of Queens. Mother of the peoples... ---said blue bird kneeling in perfect obedience before the baby...

Tahirza. The Rebellion of the Princesses

The moons rose and fell. The gods battled in the skies. The thaw came and the traders ventured to the puna. Pumas, jaguars and all the creatures of the gods sought to mate in the jungle. Gold and emerald seekers ventured into the green hell....

Chapter 1

From the end of the corridor appeared the squat figure of Bibut, the Inca ambassador, who always passed through the palace, as lord and master.

--Sabandija-thought the princess, as she lifted the girl from the floor. The man made a very ceremonious bow and said.

--Great joy in my eyes, to be able to see a powerful queen in her tenderest beginning," --said the ambassador obsequiously, "---May my mother and our mother allow my miserable hands to carry her, may I present her to the sun god,???" ---said the man with a face of supplication.

Ave Azul looked into the shining eyes of the man, who looked immensely excited.

The princess handed the girl to the man's caring hands.

The man took the girl, contemplating her with a supposed tenderness, went to the immense window and exposed her to the sun god, while he mumbled a prayer; surely he was asking for health, prosperity and luck through the sacred little body.

Then unusually he pulled the baby's body completely out of the window, holding it firmly with both hands, while Blue Bird nervously stroked the handle of the obsidian dagger hidden in his clothes. The man turned around smiling gratefully and slowly introduced the girl to the safety of the hallway and said to the princess.

--You don't know mother and my mother, how grateful I am that you have allowed me, a being so unworthy of any favor, to carry a queen and present her to the sun god.

---When she has the use of reason .I will tell her so that she will never forget it.

--I hope to be alive to greet her and see her enthroned on her throne," --replied the man courteously.

--So shall it be,"--- replied the woman, carrying the baby into the safety of her arms; both under the watchful eye of a respectful Chibcha warrior, who watched the scene from a few feet away, and also relieved, loosened his tense muscles.

The princess took the girl and gave a light kiss on her forehead, walking away from the man after giving him a respectful farewell bow. Blue Bird felt her hands cold and trembling.

--See you later," --said the woman as she hurriedly walked away from the man, who stood watching her from his strange attitude.

--See you later, mother and our mother," --said Bibut, keeping the same attitude, with a rare smile, watching the magnificent woman walk away.

--Everything could have been solved in an instant,"-- thought the man, as he walked out of the palace, --"but I am definitely not a murderer.

The man walked past a shadow that faded into the stone walls as he left. Bibut stopped dead in his tracks, looking around. He could have sworn...but anyway.

As the man left the hallway, a transparent figure glided in the opposite direction, following the princess.

--You may go," --said a whisper in a strange language.

Then Tapic who was standing just above the window lifted his elegant flight, grateful to his father and master, who would surely reward him with some exquisite milky ones. For to his regret he would be the only vegetarian Condor in the world; he only compensated by being the favorite bird of the Living God.
