Chapter 15: Chapter Fourteen
Ras Micheal is in his office, at the palace where the rightful king should be at, thinking about his son. He didn't get any kind of information other than the letter that he received from his son saying that he is okay and he will pass him some information in the process of his stay.
He is getting very anxious; his foot is bouncing, holding his hands together tightly.
It's obvious that Ras Micheal will go insane if he is in Gojjam instead of his son but come to think of it… the Gojjam society will never make him stay alive; since he is their enemy they will surly kill him on sight.
Ras Micheal is worrying about how his son doing in Gojjam while his son; Wolde Samuel is worrying about how he is going to apologies to Tsege but the main thing that's worrying the freak out of him is that the thought of her rejecting his apology. He has completely forgotten about what he promised his own father.
Emanuel is with Ras Zemede debating with himself about his asking how and why Wolde Samuel is here in Gojjam while Tsege is hanging out with her best friend; Sara.
When these people are busy with their own lives, the people of Ethiopia was busy preparing to Ester.
Ester is fast approaching and it was Tsege's favorite holiday of all holidays. Since most Ethiopian citizens are Christian, this all holidays are celebrated with a huge celebration/party but the people who are important to the society of Gojjam seems to be gloomy this year.
Even the Empress is very worried. She is very worried about the man she really wants to take over the throne because she hasn't sent any kind of letter to her father. She also heard that he attacked the Gojjam people and she is very afraid that he was there and he got killed. She is very afrain the he will die and she will never have someone to take the throne over for her.
She really wants to help but how was the real question. Without having like she was supposed to have, when the Regional lords are getting out of hand, when her own father is doing not thing but sit down and look at the Ethiopian society crumble down when he has the chance and the power to do something.
All her father does is sit down in the palace; leaving Ras Micheal is charge to rule the country as he wants while getting what he needs. There is even a man that's been on the throne five times… and now it's his sixths time being on the throne.
No one really cares, most really wanted to take over and rule, no one really cared enough to think what the people of Ethiopia wanted and they all don't know when that meaning of the word "Emperor" turned into something else.
No one really expected the time like this would come. It was very unexpected that people started to lose hope for a better country and the changed meaning of the word "Emperor" is "Puppet".
