Chapter 44: Balete Tree

My grown son and I reached the foot of the mountains. I can't believe how tall he becomes in just a couple of days from the other side. It might be the effect of the place on a vampire child like him. But I have to stop feeling amazed by how he grew up so fast.

I need to start finding the "Nuno sa punso" around here. Maybe they can help me save my child from the werewolf prophecy. It seems that we were able to reach our destination. I'm not sure if it's the same place. Gregory is the one who brought me here before.

"Mom, how much longer must we walk?" Marius is now complaining.

"Don't tell me you feel tired! Vampires don't feel that, Marius." I replied.

"Yes, vampires don't get tired but they can get bored. We have been walking forever!" He said.
