Chapter 237: I Am Sorry

Samuel was given a moment to compose himself. Sebastian was, after all, his father. He couldn't just beat his son into a pulp when he was so vulnerable. Not only did he have to protect Nancy but himself too now, as he was a human. The bruises on his face from the continuous blows weren't disappearing as he lifted his head to look at Sebastian, staring back at him with an eerie expression. 

"Is this how it will be, Samuel?" Sebastian asked, raising an eyebrow. "Will you make your father go down to these limits?" 

"You are not my father," Samuel replied, turning his head to the side to spit the blood gushing from the wounds in his mouth. 

Sebastian smirked slightly before diminishing it and looking away, "Your mother," He muttered. "She's still there, isn't she? You saw her, didn't you?" 

Samuel refused to reply to the man. Not after he tried to get emotional just to conquer Samuel.
