“Good boy,” Bull said and he patted Jamie’s head. “Now get me a flogger from the selection on the wall or one of the two in my duffle; you can choose which one I use.” Curiosity drove Jamie to the duffle first. He unzipped the duffle bag and found a change of clothes for each of them, toiletries, and two floggers; one made of suede, the other of leather. The suede flogger appealed because it was a low intensity instrument and he was facing a bull whip later in the session but his hand kept going back to the leather. It was heavy with pointed ends. It would give both a thud and a sting.

“That’s a bull hide flogger, it’s very heavy. You wouldn’t be able to take much of that one.” Bull smiled.

“Can we try that one, Sir?” Jamie asked, looking lovingly at the flogger in his hand.

“Yes, if you wish. We can always go back to the suede if it becomes too much; remember, you have four stripes of the whip coming.”
