“Thank you, Cub,” Bear turned his eyes back to Greg after giving Brian a quick slap on his ass. Brian smiled and sat down again. “I’ll take my notes to the study and give Cisco a call. I’m sure he is just as anxious as you are to wrap this up.”

“Should I wait here with Brian?”

“Yes, and from this point on, you will address me as Sir, in private and at the club. I’ll call Cisco and get back to you in a little while.” He left the kitchen to go into his study.

Bear sat behind his desk and pulled his cell phone from his pocket. Cisco said he would be home today so he placed a call to the house. It was only seven a.m.

“De Loria,” Cisco answered his phone.

“Hello Cisco, it’s Bear Drummond. Do you always answer your home phone so abruptly?” Bear got out a fountain pen to note any changes to the contract.

“I see no reason to answer it any differently than I would in the hospital.”
