He curled his hand into a fist before reaching out to push some of Arlo’s hair off his shoulder. The white strands were like silk against his skin, softer than any hair he’d ever touched

Leaning forward, he angled his head and touched his lips to Arlo’s.

Arlo didn’t have super speed, but Nash missed the hand flying through the air anyway. The fist connected with his shoulder and for a second Nash was stunned, not understanding what was happening.

“What the hell do you think you’re doing? Get out of my house!” Arlo was off the bed in a second and all Nash could do was stare. What had he done?

“Sorry. Shit, I’m sorry.” His beast snarled, telling him to stalk over there and claim what was his. His vision turned grayscale again.

“Stop that.”

Stop?

“Your eyes, stop it, and get out.” Arlo glared at him with his pale blue eyes.

“Babe—”

“Shut it and get out. Do you have any idea how many people I let into my home?”

Nash frowned, not sure he wanted to know.
