“Cameron.” She fought to regain eye contact. “Craig says to tell you to hang tough; we’ll get you out of here. We know you didn’t do it. Is there anything you need? Anything I can get for you?”

Cameron was in a state of shock. She just shook her head.

The guard stepped forward and took Cam by the arm, pulling her to her feet.

“Cam…” Maggie tried to get through the silence that seemed to enshroud Cameron.

Cam stopped and looked at Maggie. Her mouth opened as if she wanted to say something but words failed her. She let the guard push her through the door.
