We generally prefer a witch with more experience, but I think the risk will be balanced by the fact that you’re a necromancer. Your power will be a huge asset in this case and we will really appreciate your assistance. Anyway, the supernaturals generally don’t come out in the daytime. We prefer the comfort of darkness. Consequently, our investigations are mostly done in the evening. Besides, you’re Mrs. Thornton’s grandson. I have faith in her judgment and I’ll trust that you won’t harm me along the way.”

“Harm you?” he questioned in confusion.

“You’re a necromancer. You preside over life and death. You hold the lives of everyone in your hand. Vampires are especially vulnerable since my kind is in a limbo between the mortal plane and the other side.”
