Galaxy’s cell phone rang a couple of times and he started to worry he’d end up having to leave a message.

“Hello, Leo.”

“Oh, great. I didn’t want to get your voice mail. I need a favor.”

His brother laughed. “What favor?”

Leo looked in the direction of the bathroom, but he could still hear the shower running. He lowered his voice anyway. “It’s about a guy staying here.”

“I already told you I don’t care if you have guys over.”

“Yeah, well, this is more than that. Remember I told you I was sort of involved with Nolan Young.”

“The mayor’s son?”

At the mention of Nolan’s father, Leo felt anger spike through him. “Right, that bastard. I fucking hate that prick.”

There was a long pause on the other end and for a moment Leo thought Galaxy had lost the signal on his cell phone. “Has he done something to you?”

“No, I’ve never met the fucker.”

“Then—”

“He abuses Nolan.”

“Are you sure?”

“Yes, I’m certain.”
