Adam sat in a chair next to Galaxy’s bed in the ICU. His lover was out of surgery, had been to the recovery room and was now sleeping. Dr. Parsa had advised that they had no complications with the coiling and that Galaxy would be moved to a regular room in the morning for the remainder of his stay.
Tony had taken Leo to get something to eat, though Leo had been reluctant to leave. Adam couldn’t blame him since he hadn’t wanted to leave Galaxy’s side either. Galaxy had been pretty out of it though when they’d brought him out of recovery, not even seeming to know where he was before he lapsed into a deep sleep.
Adam had a magazine a nurse had given him, but he couldn’t bring himself to look at it. He was too focused on Galaxy. They hadn’t really known each other long, yet already he felt so close to Galaxy, and he’d nearly lost him. If the aneurysm had ruptured, the chances of death were quite high. They all had known that.
