“No worries. Pierre and Meg will go up there soon, and she’ll set things right. Is your house ready?”

“Almost, Ian said he needed a few more days to get the molding right. It’s high Victorian and has a lot of curlicues. He wanted to paint it without obscuring the carvings with too much paint.” Rémy puffed out with pride. “But I have all of the furniture, and Ian could paint around it. There isn’t that much work left. We could move in this weekend if it wasn’t for Ferone. Is Sean starting NYU again in the fall for his doctorate?”

“Yes, why?” Armand asked.

“Why? Ian was accepted into the Rhode Island School of Design but couldn’t go because of his father.” Remy’s lips tightened.

“The one who’s dead along with the brother who started the trouble…I had René do research on the plane.”
