“Yes please. Tell her Armand and Rémy are coming with their mates, we’re expecting twelve for lunch.”

Philippe and Anton came right upstairs. Anton had no problem being partnered with another Beta and wished Colin well. “I’m sorry that you didn’t pick me, it’s a great honor. However, Philippe has more patience than I do, and you’re human and don’t know our ways.”

Philippe took Colin aside and told him how glad he was that Colin picked him. Of the two Betas, Philippe felt that he understood humans better than Anton did, Philippe having a half-human mother and a human grandmother. Both Anton and Marc agreed.
