Chapter 117: The trauma

Sun was already down when the eagle team packed their bags and decided to leave Gui Xiang, wrapping up their investigation. 

However, when they bid farewell to Elder Mao and Zhu Yuhai, both of them were against the police team's decision to leave the village at the night. 

"Officer Han, why don't you stay here for the night and leave in the early morning?" Zhu Yuhai suggested for the nth time as he approached Han Ze Min who happened to be the first person to pack his bags and come out of his room before anyone else. 

Hearing their request, Han Ze Min's proud face broke into a gentle smile and wobbled his head in disagreement.

"Sorry, Mr Zhu. It's an emergency, we need to leave as soon as possible." He smilingly stated, clearly in a joyful tone as if he was too excited to leave this place. 

Of course, he was excited to return to Imperial more than anyone else.
