Daisuke stared at the blue screen in front of him with a wide smile.
' Finally!'
[ Ding! The genetic material of Uchiha Sasuke and Uzumaki Naruto has been copied and modified to suit the needs of the user. An anomaly has been found in the genetic material. Ancient chakra has been found! ]
[ Modifying!
The two samples have been found to complement each other!
Combining!
An unseen ancient chakra has been produced!
Modifying!
Installing!
The user will notice an increase in strength instantly!
However, this increase is minor and the body will get used to it over longer periods to display its full might! ]
Daisuke was amazed at this.
He knew what the screen had meant by ancient chakra.
He was not too sure about his survival but after he became a genin he suddenly awakened this ability.
This ability allowed him to copy the genetic material of others, modify it and install it in his own body however since they are modified there will be some changes because what worked for others won't work for his body.
Daisuke punched the air in joy as he thought, ' Finally! I thought I was going to die a cannon fodder! This thing has given me hope!'
' My last life...held no meaning. So, I wanted to achieve everything possible in this new life! I didn't want to just be anything...like my previous life!'
' There were dangers to being a shinobi... one's life was at constant risk. If one wasn't strong enough, they would just be food to those sitting atop the food chain!'
' The situation of my family in the ninja world wasn't as great... we are debt-ridden. We were just your average middle-class family whose only chance at changing the situation was being a shinobi.'
' My parents took loans from relatives and friends and even loan sharks to get me into the Academy.'
' I worked as hard I could to not disappoint them. If I was able to become a ninja, I would be able to pay those loans and give my parents the happy life they deserved!'
' But, reality like Madara said is often cruel. I had no talent in the shinobi arts. I wasn't among the fastest, I wasn't among the most intelligent, I wasn't just talented enough...'
' However, through sheer hard work, I was able to pass off as an average student. When the boys were too busy being jealous of Sasuke and girls, getting on Sasuke's good side... I worked hard!'
' I mastered chakra control, all the jutsu that the academy taught and kept myself at the top of the class in...theory.'
' If it's a theory...I was confident I was the best student to ever graduate from the Shinobi Academy. I even equalled the record set by Minato. Though it had more to do with me previously being an adult.'
' But, at practical exams...I sucked hard. Surely, I trained a lot but a civilian body without a drop of bloodline didn't help. I was skilled but my body wasn't good enough.'
' And I was no combat genius like Naruto as well. So, I was just your hardworking average dude that was able to graduate from the Academy.'
' At least, I beat Sakura. But, what that led me to... I joined Team 7. Beating Sakura and my hard work on building a relationship with the main characters so that they could at least save my weak ass sometimes...contributed to me joining Team 7 instead of Sakura.'
' Giving it my all in establishing friendly, positive relations with the main casts in my class was something of an investment.'
' But, I dreaded the fact that I was put in Team 7. That was the most unsafe team in all of Naruto.'
' But! This system changed it all! Though I still am not very comfortable being in the epicentre of all major events in Naruto. At least, I won't be in a passive situation.'
' Now, I must give it my all and also be careful because the system didn't grant me instant power but even that small amount of change brought about by Hagoromo's chakra in my body should have incredible effects!'
