CHAPTER 24 : TAKE A TEST TO GET SOME RESULTS (4)
DODGE "Damn!! How can it be so fast??!!" I shouted dodging the punches of the big ugly mutant zombie.
BUZZZZZ "ROOOAARRR!!!" She used some kind if strong electric skill but that didn't affect much on the current situation. What should I do??!!
Yes I can use my sword [SKILL 'ELECTRIC TOUCH' HAS BEEN ACTIVATED] But It would take too much time!! Think!! Think!!! "!!!" Wait the one beside me is also an electric user and that also a really strong one.
"Hey!!! use some electric skill on my sword!!" I shouted showing her my sword. "HUMP" "!!!" She suddenly strike lightning towards me!! Shit!! I blocked it with my sword. It's good that I have electric resistance being an electric Arcaner.
"ROOOOAAR" SWOOOSH!! Huff that did some damage I relieved seeing that my chain sword sliced it's skin. "!!!" When did my sword change color to violet?? Man but it looks soo cool!!
I think I can beat it SOOOSH "!!!" BOOM. It punched on my stomach. Flying in the air on second thought I cannot beat it!! "ROARRR GRRRRR" The huge zombie started shouting as all the zombies around the area started coming towards us!! AAAHHH I started swinging my sword to damage every part of it's body but the problem was, this bastard cannot feel pain!!
Even if the fire was so hot till the last color (Violet is the hotest form of heat) I still cannot manage to damage it.
SWOOOSH SWOOSH CLASOOWWWSH "!!" What the hell!! Many cracks appeared on my chain sword. Damn it!! Now my only weapon is going to get destroyed?? But still I have to make use of it!! I started running around the huge zombie trying to tie my chain sword around it.
"Huh?" my sword is slowly started to cool down!! But why??
FLASH [MANA IS CLOSE TO DEPLEATE!!! YOUR MANA USAGE WILL SLOWLY DECREASE]
Damn not now!! Not now!! "GRRR ROARR" as I started tying it the huge zombie started struggling.
"Hey!!! At least help me!! I am trying to stop it you see!!" I shouted at my trained whose name was still unknown to me.
BUZZZZZ "Damn!! not another lightning!!!" BOOOMMMM "AAAAAAAHHHH" I started shouting as I busted into the air.
The dust started covering my vision. I slowly stood up holding the haft of my broken sword. I wish at least this time we took it down..... My wish was shattered as I heard the zombie roar again. As the dust slowly settled I could see the zombie had some burns on his skin. At least it took some damage.
But what sould I do now?? I have a broken sword without any mana... "!!??" I realided some thing bulging on the haft of my broken sword!! Oh come to think of it Sara told me something like 'Click this button below the haft if you are in a dangerous situation!!' with a real serious look on her face.
So I CLICK clicked it. "!!?"
"ROARRRR!!! GRRRR EEEEKKKK" Haaa! isn't it shouting too much? SWOOSH SWOOSH SLICE STRIKE "GRAAAAAA" Aaahhh even in pain it is shouting. I slowly swinger the dagger in the air to clean the blood stained on it.
Man!! What was Sara even thinking by putting a dagger inside a huge sword?? But it is utterly cool and sturdy. And it fits in my hand too well. Because of it's size my mana cunseption is lo too as it is made of the same material as the sword.
Daggers are meant for close combat and it has an advantage against unarmed zombie. It's edges are unique too, it would at least cut three times for one swing. Maaan!! Sara is awesome!! Even the fire coming from the dagger makes it look too cool!!
"GRRR ROAARRR!!" Man this huge zombie is still alive. As it saw me it started running towards me. I took a long wire which I noticed on the ground and tied one end to my hand and the other end to the blade of the dagger and trowed it towards the zombi with all my strength.
ZUPPPP The dagger flew in the air like a meteoroid emitting fire around it's surroundings. Due to my skill the fire did not go off due to the air. I hope it hits the zombie. "!!!!"
"OOOHHHHUUU!!! THATS A HEAD SHORT!!!" I shouted as the dagger pierced through the head of the zombie making it fall dead.
I looked towards her with a cheek cracking smile on my face but I noticed that she was looking at me like I was gone crazy. "Oh come on!! At least appreciate a fellow Arcaner newbie who is your student on that top of that!!"
"TSK! You are smiling as if we passed the [TEST]." She said to me in a serious voice. AAHH she is cold!!
FLASH"!!" [THE 'FIRE GOD' OF THIS WORLD HAS SHOWN INTREST ON YOU] "Huh? What is this?"
FLASH [THE 'WATER GOD' AGREES FOR THE REASON YOU ARE HAPPY ABOUT]
FLASH [YOUR REAWARDS HAVE BEEN INCREASED]
"What is what?" She asked me. "Um first lets get out of here, we will talk about every thing afterwards."
As my sentence ended she started charging towards the group of zombies. BUZZZZ BOOOMM "Uoh she still got so much strength after all this mess?? Oh I was the one who looked over the mess any way." I started running behind her as she cleared the path by ruthlessly slicing the zombies with some skill. We started heading towards our resting place.
As we reached near the building
"!!??" "What happened? Why is everyone coming out?" I asked them when Boss, Krithi, Tony and my half asleep friend Happi were rushing towards the door.
"Huff, so you are all right!!" The Boss was relieved as he saw us safe. "Yes!" I said to him saluting like an army soldier.
"Huh??" I saw at least fifty other people other than us inside the building. Seeing me surprised Happi told rubbing his half closed eyes "They are the people of this world. They need our help to survive in this apocalypse." "Oho" I nodded.
"We have to help them any way as our mission is to save them by making an anti virus vaccine and sending them to a safer place." Boss said to us cleaning his weapon.
"How did they know that we were here?" I asked him doubtfully.
"Oh they saw you while you were fighting a huge zombie and found our base to tell us that you need help. So we were coming to help you two people." The boss answered me.
"Why do we need help when I was with him." my instructor questioned him.
"As if!! All you did was throw lightning at me and stare at me while I was fighting." I said to her angrily.
"It was part of the training too if you were in a dangerous situation I would have come to help you." She answered me while looking in other directing avoiding my eye contact.
She was definitely lying as she even questioned me if I was someone sent from the company to kill her. Any way I think that she realized now that I am not someone worth suspecting.
"Any way how can we save people? We are not scientists to make vaccines for some deadly virus?" Tony shouted in frustration and we all became silent as this was a very hard task. What should we do?
"Are there any scientists here?" Krithi asked the people. The people started seeing each others faces and after some time an old man along with two others came front.
"We are scientists. So what do you 'other worlders' want from us?" The old man asfked us.
"Um.. grandpa can you help us to make a vaccine against the virus." Krithi asked him in a very polite voice.
"Uwaaaa!" "!!!!" Hearing her the grandpa suddenly started crying!! "Umm.. Why are you crying??" Krithi asked him worriedly. "It's been so many days since someone called me grandpa.SOB SOB.. I am so happy!! SOB I will do any thing for my grandchildren." He started saying as the others started cleaning his tears.
I was worried that he missed is grandchildren who have died with a very sad flashback and we have to listen it.
"So what do we need to do to make it?" Tony asked anxiously.
"Um.. first we need some samples of blood from the zombies then we need the materials to make the vaccine." One of the scientists answered Tony.
I can say by the look on her face that it is not as easy as she said. "So everyone lets go and get different sampled from different types of zombie mutants." "YES SIR!!!" we answered to what the Boss said.
"Then we will divide into three groups and spread in different directions." We all nodded.
After some time we prepared our weapons and started moving.
GROUP A: BOSS AND TONY
GROUP B: KRITHI AND MY INSTRUCTOR
GROUP C: ME AND HAPPI
I and Happi started towards East.. no it may be west... no I don't know the direction because of the smoke covered. We spread and went in different direction that's all.
As we started moving zombies started appearing. BOOMM!! "!!!!" Damn Happi got so strong that he made those zombies into ashes!! MAANN!! Why am I so weak??!
We slowly started moving forward killing the zombies on our way and taking some samples of blood which are different in appearance or power.
"WOOOOW!" What's that "!!!!" Happi shouted as we realized a huge wall that was build at the end of the city.
Why is the wall built? Why is it so huge?! What is it built around this city???!! AND MORE IMPORTANTLY!! WHAT IS BEHIND THIS WALL?!!!!
