CHAPTER 18 : GET STRONG OR GET KILLED
"DAMN!!!! How many times should I tell you?!!! I did not kill them!!" AAHHH this is getting annoying!!
"I am asking you again!! Why did you kill them? If you don't answer correctly we will have to use mind control magic!!" This investigator is crazy!!! How many times will he ask me the same thing?
Do you want to know what situation I am in? So after yesterdays incident there was a huge unexpected event so now I am in IAA interrogation room which is surrounded by black onesided glass. I am sitting on a chair feeling nervous about being interrogated for the first time. But all my nervousness changed into anger because of the man infront of me.
"Do what ever you want!!! I said I don't know!!!" I shouted again. AAAHHH I just want to hit on this bastard's nose.
"At least tell the identity of the victim you are saying that you saved!!!" He said that smacking the table.
As if I would tell you?!! If I tell them about the little kid you will be hurting her and ask many weird questions as they are asking me. This investigator is more like a villain than a fellow employee.
Wait wait wait, now that I think about the kid, I did not tell her to not to tell about the magic I used or the others used!!! HAHA no no, even if she tells to anyone no one will believe her so I don't have to worry.
"I am seriously asking you!! tell me what exactly happened!!!" He shouted again. Mann!! e is gonna make me deaf for sure.
"I already told you every thing!! How many times should I tell you??!!" AAAAHHHH someone save me!! Anyone!!
"You are giving me no choice but to use forc..." "STOP!!!" Huh? Who said that? I turned towards him. Oh it was Vigyan!!! I he here to save me?
"Huh? Professor?! Why are you here?? Get out!!" Huh? he doesn't even have some manners.
Vigyan looks at him seriously. "This is the memory from the victim that Rishi has been saying. So you can take it as the evidence that he did not kill them. So if you have any doubt ask the higher officials about it." Telling that Vigyan gives him a strange looking orb.
"What ever I will just get out of here." Taking the orb he leaves.
"Thank you professor, you saved me!! If you would have not come my nerves would have been blasted with all my anger." I thanked him bowing my head. He really is a life savior.
"You don't have to thank me too much. I just did what was in my hands." the professor said waving his hands.
"But I have a doubt> ow did you get the memories of the victim??" I asked him curiously.
"As I already said. I have my eyes on everybody in this company. So what ever you do I would be informed." he said seriously.
"OOhoo, but what was the thing about the incident? What took place that I was interrogated so toughly?? It was just some AAA people died right?" I asked him.
Yes because there were many AAA people killed infront of me so why was I the only one who was interrogated. And how did they even die? I am damn sure that I just knocked them down.
"Um... about that Rishi lets go to my office and talk about it?" He said to me in a serious voice.
I nodded and we started walking towards his office. If Prof.Vigyan is serious then the matter would be complicated.
BUZZZZZ siddenly my phone started ringing. Oh it was dad I answered it.
"Rishi where are you?" Dad asked me worriedly.
"Um I am still in the company." I replied to him.
"Huff alright then nothing happened to you right?" Dad asked me doubtfully.
"Yeah I am totally fine. Why do you ask?"
"Um.. it's just that the bus that you would get to come back home has been in an accident." He said to me in a sad voice.
"What??" I shouted.
"So your mom was worried about you.... it's alright as long as you are fine." He said.
"Yeah.... ok bye" "Oh yeah you must be busy bye." I ended the call.
What the hell is happening these days? Either I am being in an accident or the things related to me!!! This is too much suspicious.
We entered Prof.Vigyan's office. I started looking around. It was filled with lots of weird things but they were all neatly arranged. Vigyan signed me to sit on a chair.
"So Rishi earlier you asked me why were you the only one who has been interrogated right?" I sat on the chair and nodded my head.
"Did you notice that they were not killed with any weapons? And there was no blood?" Now that Vigyan said that, there was no blood nor even a single scratch on them as my skills are electric based.
"So there is something that we are suspecting that took place." Vigyan said seriously.
AAAAHH don't tell me like that I am having goosebumps. "What's that?!!" I shouted.
"All the three people Arcanes are missing!!! Which concludes that someone took them."
"What!!!? Is that even possible?!!" I asked the professor. I feel like it's something dangerous.
"Yes according to the investigation we have done another company has emerged from the shadows of AAA and it's more likely to be the culprit. If an Arcane is forced to take out of a person his soul would be completely destroyed and as a result the person will be dead. In this process the person who is taking the Arcane and the person whose Arcane is been taken would have to suffer intense pain." Prof.Vigyan said to me worriedly.
"We also tried to stop them many times but due to lack of man power it became hard for us." the professor signed.
"Then what would they do with the stolen Arcane??" I asked the professor. Yes as far as I know Arcane is present in a soul of an Awakner so what would they do with that?
"Rishi as you know, normally a person has only one Arcane power either it may be the elemental magic or supernatural strengths but when another Arcane is force fully combined with the arcane you would get two Arcane powers. And if it is force inside a normal person he may also become an Arcaner. Um.... this is just something we assume from our investigation but our assumption cannot always be correct. So we don't exactly know their plans." the professor explained.
We maintained some silence for some time. This is something that my mind needs to upload permanently so I needed some time so understanding me the professor remained calm for some time.
"Did all the things started happening after I came here or from the start?" I said rubbing my head to relax my brain.
"To tell you the truth, they started happening after you came here like many [DOOR]s started opening out of no where and these other organizations started messing around." the professor answered truthfully.
Yes from the start, where ever I go every thing starts to go crazy. I experienced many times in my school, college and office.
"Oh any way!! You start coming here as a permanent employee from tomorrow!!! Cheer up." he tried to cheer me up.
"That means the real work starts tomorrow too." I said in a sad voice. Yes from tomorrow I don't know what I have to do? And how many more life and death situations I have to face but!! I do not regret my decision.
"You tell like that and now you are smiling huh?" huh? did I just smile unknowingly?
"Any way what you said is right. the real work starts tomorrow... You have to get stronger clear some [TEST]s and then you have to enter [OA...." Realizing he slipped his tongue he covered his mouth.
"Maan!!! do you always do this or is it only with me." I masked him looking seriously.
"I don't do like this infront of anyone but I think you have some kind of power which makes my tongue slip!!" he shouted at me.
"What ever, I got that the story from here gets complicated huh?"
"Um... yes? Oh any way you have to train from now on!! The state you are in now is very weak. So I selected someone to teach you." is it only me or did he have a spark in his eyes?
"Oh so you are talking with him huh? I was searching for you everywhere." Huh? Suddenly someone.... no it was Vigyan's wife she appeared infront of us.
"Yeah." Vigyan answered.
"Do you know Meena that he joined our company today!!" He said to her exitedly.
"Really!!? Then good for you. You were so worried about him joining." She was happy too.
"But...." Meena looked at me. As you know the outfit of an overworking office worker like me.
".... You have to change your outfit from tomorrow." She said to me seriously. hehe sorry for my poor outfit
"Any way I will be going home." I turned towards the exit. Wait!! Why do I feel like I am missing some thing important??
"Vigyan!!! Who would be training me!!!!" I shouted.
"Hehehe." He started laughing.
