Chapter 15: Chapter 15

- The Next Day -

"WHERE IS SHE?! WHERE IS MY SISTER?!" yelled Viserys in anger, fury, and fear at having his one final form of currency left now gone.

"I don't know your Grace. Rest assured, I will have someone find her immediately. We will get her back before Khal Drogo arrives," replied Illyrio Mopatis with Viserys glaring at him and was clearly considering the idea of killing the fat merchant himself.

"Well hurry! Find her! I want my stupid sister presented to Khal Drogo so I can get the Khal's army!" demanded Viserys with the man being hysterical with each passing second.

They had awoken late in the morning. The feeling of a terrible hangover from the wine the servants had brought last night pulsing in the back of their minds. They stumbled out of their room, past the guards, and toward the main hall to eat.

Only to find there were no servants to be found. Not in the main hall, not in the kitchen, and after looking around...the entire house. When asked by the guards where were the servants, the each guard replied "I saw no one" every single time. Every single time! It didn't make any sense! When asked over and over again, they all said the same fucking thing! Nothing else.

Both men had search the house from top to bottom. Every room. Every corridor. Every place Daenerys could have hid from them. But alas, the Targaryen Princess was not to be found. Another thing both men realized when looking around were two other people, who were not in the house to assist in the search.

Jon Connington and Dooku Tyranus.

As such, Viserys and Illyrio Mopatis could only make one single conclusion about all of this regarding what happened in the dead of night.

They had been betrayed by the two men. Somehow, Lord Tyranus and Lord Connington had turned all the servants against their Master. They had all left in the dead of night and taken Daenerys with them. To the Magister's additional horror, his vast wealth from his personal vault had been pilfered. All of it. His vast wealth gone! But that wasn't the worst of it. Oh no. What was worse just so happened to be chest he acquired quite a few moons ago.

A chest containing three dragon eggs. Granted they were frozen and useless outside of being some kind of decoration or empty gift to make Viserys happy. But they were still a means to an end.

And now they were gone!

And to make matters even worse, the sound of multiple horses were fast approaching could be heard heading toward them. Meaning Khal Drogo was here to see his bride. A bride neither had to give him. Walking out of the house to see the Dothraki Khal and his blood riders, the Magister carefully approached the man with a nervous look on his face.

At the time same time, Viserys soon came out, hand on his sword, looking worried about what would happen next, and saw the Magister talking to the Khal. No doubt explaining what was happening with Daenerys and how someone had stolen her in the middle of the previous night from him.

"Where is my intended bride?" said Khal Drogo with the Magister looking increasingly nervous.

"There has been a slight delay Khal Drogo," said Illyrio Mopatis while never speaking the Dothraki tongue himself since it was the tongue of savages, but could understand it perfectly.

"What do you mean by delay? What delay? Where is my future wife? This woman who will give me the ultimate rider for a son?" demanded Khal Drogo with his anger being felt by the Magister and his blood riders.

His blood riders slowly reaching for their weapons.

"She was stolen Khal Drogo. Last night. Two people who I trusted to protect the dragon bloodline and the prize you need have betrayed me. They took her somewhere after I was drugged," replied Illyrio Mopatis with Khal Drogo looking even angrier.

"These men took my bride and you allowed yourself to be drugged in the process? And you present an alternative here? My bride's brother?! Do you take me for someone who would sleep with another man?" demanded Khal Drogo with Illyrio Mopatis shaking his head no in response.

"No! No! No great Khal Drogo. Viserys is merely watching us having our conversation about this. Nothing more. He is deeply upset about his sister being taken and wants her found to present to you," replied Illyrio Mopatis with Khal Drogo looking from him to Viserys before looking at the Magister with narrowed piercing eyes.

Before they glazed over for a second and were filled with anger.

"You lie! Kill them all!" exclaimed Khal Drogo before he drew his weapon and brought it down on Illyrio Mopatis's neck.

His blade sliced the Magister's clean head off in one strike.

The blood riders instantly had their horses charge the building, intent on riding inside of it to destroy and kill whoever was left to end. Viserys had already ran inside and have the guards deal with them while packing what he could before attempting to escape. While the guards fell one by one at the hands of the Dothraki blood riders, Khal Drogo had been in pursuit of Viserys with the man now running away with sword in his trembling hand. It wasn't difficult to best Viserys in any kind of combat, as the young man had never fought against an opponent intending to kill him. In fact, his sword was more for show, and what little practice he did get in were from trainers who let him win or do well because of the coin provided for their services.

All Khal Drogo had to do was charge Viserys with his horse and the impact knocked him out, much to the Khal's ever growing disappointment. This was a dragon? This weak little thing that was taken down by his steed was from a feared and respected bloodline? One that had once ridden the ancient beasts that were dragons and were the best riders in all of the world?

Pathetic. And to think, this weak thing wanted to give his possibly weak sister to him for an arranged marriage so his Horde would be used for war. Perhaps, his sister believed herself unworthy and left. Or did she feel it was the opposite? Usually, when it came to two siblings, the weaker one always perished first, and it was usually the youngest of the two. With a few exceptions from time to time? Was his supposed bride the exception? Did she feel a Dothraki Khal was beneath her bloodline and she was actually the stronger of the two among her remaining family?

Again, his eyes glazed over and Khal Drogo focused on the task at hand. First, he would deal with this weak worm spawned from the shit his horses produced. Second, looking for his possible bride to see if she was worthy of marrying him, and producing a strong son who would be the ultimate rider.

- Magister's House - Moments Later -

Viserys woke up when a harsh punch impacted his face. It startled him more then hurt, but soon the hurt overcame that along with the feeling of his arms. Soon after awakening from his unconscious state, a blood rider on either side holding his arms had broken them with the Targaryen Prince screaming out in pain. His mind trying to figure out what had happened to cause this mess and soon looked up to see a clearly not amused Khal Drogo looking down at him.

"Please stop! Please! It wasn't my fault! The Magister is at fault! And my sister too! She fled rather then stay. Kill her! spare me! I have dragon's blood in my veins. Any child I give a woman of your Horde will strong! They will possess the blood of a King!" pleaded Viserys while the Khal Drogo snarled at the implication of letting this weak thing have a child with one of the Dothraki women in his Horde.

If he did, the child could become strong, unlike its sire, and seek to challenge him for the right to rule the Horde one day. Unacceptable! The only one Khal Drogo wished to have challenge him for the right to lead was his future son with the blood of dragons. A son he would be denied because this fool couldn't control his sister despite the possibility the girl clearly saw her brother as a weak fool too. In any case, the Khal would deal with her soon enough, but had to make an example out of Viserys so anyone seeing him would know to give Khal Drogo what was promised.

Or else.

"You. Are no. King!" said Khal Drogo to the shock of Viserys seeing him speaking to him outside of the Dothraki tongue.

"Please spare me! I can help you track down my sister. I know how Daenerys thinks. She will do what I say when captured and brought to heel," begged Viserys with Khal Drogo snarled at him since it was clearly a lie.

If this fool could keep his sister in line or know how she thinks, they wouldn't be here in this situation right now. No. This so called dragon was a toothless witless worm who was clearly trying to squirm his way out of this to survive. But Khal Drogo has no intention of letting Viserys survive past today. No. This so called King was going to get exactly what he wanted, but not in the way it was intended.

Glancing over at a table, he saw a single golden necklace of sorts. Khal Drogo grabbed it before throwing it into the pot placed over a fire. He watched the gold melt in the pot to become a liquid form. He knew enough about people in cities like this one to know that gold was a precious form of currency to many and considered a form of power due to the wealth one had in possessing it.

But not Khal Drogo. No. For him, power came from within. Gold was not power. Gold was a weakness. It made men weak with desire they could not control and placed value on things that did not have any. When it came to fighting on the field of battle, it was the man wielding a sharp flesh cutting weapon, not a man holding a chest of gold who came out alive. A man who could not fight and relied on gold to win his battles was not a man, but a coward hiding either because he was too old or weak to do it himself.

Khal Drogo was neither old or weak. And he was going to set an example for any would-be King or man believing gold was true power.

"A Crown for a King," said Khal Drogo after taking the pot from the fire and dumping it on Viserys's head.

The silver haired man screamed out in pain, the gold soon cooling and becoming solid on the Targaryen Prince's head. When the blood riders let go of the man, he fell on the floor with the melted gold forming a crude helmet for a crown, and a loud "THUD!" it made when hitting the floor.

- With Aegon, Daenerys, and Jon Connington -

"Is it done?" asked Jon with Aegon sitting down in his "meditation stance" as the Rooster called it and waited for his King to provide an answer.

"It is done. Viserys is dead. The Magister is dead. The guards are dead. The Dothraki are burning the building down as we speak. It won't be long before the Spider's little birds report this to him and the Usurper. With any luck, the King and his Hand will believe both perished in this outcome," answered Aegon calmly.

"Shouldn't we worry about the Khal? If Viserys or the Magister told him that you two were the ones to take me away, he might try to pursue us. From what the Magister said about Khal Drogo, he sounds like someone who will wish to claim his prize, no matter what," cautioned Daenerys with Aegon smirking behind his mask.

"A wise thing to say. Our lessons were not wasted. And you are right. Khal Drogo would wish to pursue us if our whereabouts were discovered. Which is why we are going to take him out of the equation soon after he clears Pentos and use the situation to awaken these three dragon eggs at the same time," said Aegon with Daenerys and Jon looking a tad bit confused.

"How so your Grace?" asked Jon though he had some idea.

"How else Jon? Fire and blood. After all, death must occur in order to pay for new life," remarked Aegon with Jon nodding while his eyes widened in realization.

Khal Drogo wasn't just an instrument to remove Viserys and the Magister. No. The Khal was a strong warrior from what he heard of the man's reputation and possessed a strong life force. Through him and some other unknown properties Jon realized would be apart of the ritual, his King intended to bring back the dragons to their former glory.

And removing the threat to Daenerys in as well.

"When do we strike?" asked Jon with Aegon thinking for a moment.

"Tomorrow. When the Sun has set and the Moon is at its peak," answered Aegon before he turned to Daenerys, who now had a determined look on her face.

"You have started quite a fire this day my nephew," said Daenerys with a smirk.

"Yes. And with your help and the others I call to my side, the fire will rise. And House Targaryen will truly awaken once more," replied Aegon with Daenerys nodding.

They would bring back the dragons. The dragons would rise and the Falcon along with all the other conspirators...would fall.

Through fire and blood.
