Taesuk POV(ch6):
I fiddle with my thumbs a bit and look in the mirror in my pocket. "You look fine Taesuk-ah,'' my manager tells me. I nod my head and shut the mirror, slipping it into my pocket. "고마워 형. (Thanks hyung) I'm just a bit nervous," I reply back, wiping some of the sweat from my hands on the table.
I've never worked with a girl while modeling...I mean sure in a huge group setting...but never one on one like this.
"I know you'll do fine Taesuk. Just don't get too attached to her," Vincent jokes and hits my arm with his elbow. I roll my eyes, "in her dreams," I smirk at him. Sure, I had the tendency to get attached sometimes, but that never applies to anything job related. The door suddenly opens and I stand to my feet and bow. "こんにちは (hello)" I bow and look up.
"TAESUK?!"
"GINA?!"
We shout at each other. She covers her face with her hands and pulls on the sleeve of Junghee's jacket. Our managers look at each other, and then look back and forth at each of us. "Okay...then...." Junghee starts, and walks toward the table we're sitting at. He sticks out his hand for me to shake and I take it.
"Nice to see you again Taesuk," he says.
"Nice to see you too," I say, my mouth running on autopilot as I focus on Gina. I reach for Gina's hand and take it, her soft hands plush in mine.
"Gina...pleasure to work with you."
"You too," she says between clenched teeth, and sits in the chair in front of me.
"Right so," Vincent says, taking out pictures from a file he had.
"I was thinking of a flower concept. We shoot it in a field of flowers and have them look all cute and sweet!" Vincent exclaims revealing more pictures from a file.
"I don't know if Taesuk is capable of being sweet... or any form of nice," Gina sasses, rolling her neck as she talks.
"I don't know if you are either...Ms. barging into people's houses," I sneer.
"Oh please. Yuto wanted me there."
"Just because he wanted you there doesn't mean he has feelings for you."
"Just because you're tall doesn't mean I can't kick your ass 바보( stupid)."
"You'll have to catch me first princess," I bicker leaning in.
"OKAAAAYYY!! How about a rich looking, snooty. fancy concept? Since you BOTH can play that part," Junghee interjects, standing up and putting his hands on his hips.
I look at her and she looks at me. We both scoff and roll our eyes before looking each other up and down again.
"Fine."
"Whatever."
"GOOD! Meeting dismissed" Vincent sighs harshly and stands up, taking his files from the table. Junghee leaves with Vincent, and you can hear the faint sound of them talking smack as they walk away.
*ding ding*
My phone goes off. Gina looks at me and heads toward the door. I turn around on the swivel chair and take out my phone.

>remember what you said
> you have to apologize today. DON'T FORGET
I jolt up and head towards the door. I may be mean and a bit narcissistic, but I keep my promises. My legs carry me as fast as they can down the hallway, desperately trying to catch up to her. I tap her on the shoulder and smile at her, panting from slight exhaustion.
"Look I don't know how to say this...but I'm sorry. I’m mean to you for no reason. The truth be told Yuto is my only REAL friend since we came to Japan, I don't want him to be taken away from me. But I realize now I have to let him be happy. Can you forgive me?" I mutter, trying to keep my head up and steady eye-contact as I speak. When I get shy — or any type of nervous —I tend to look at the ground and fiddle with my hands, which is exactly what I'm doing now. Gina smiles at me and pats me on my shoulder.
"I understand that. I promise nothing will happen with your friendship with him — if something happens between us. Also I have no choice but to forgive you," she giggles, her eyes hiding for a bit behind her cheeks. "I have to see you either with Yuto or at work! So I might as well!" Gina beams.
"We're good?" I ask her, making sure we're actually okay before I return back home to Yuto. He doesn't like broken promises...
"Yep!" She smiles.
"Ahh! Let me get your number so we can call about the shoot!" Gina says, whipping out her phone from her back pocket. I punch my number in and decide to do something nice too...
"There!" I smile, handing her phone back.
"Y-Yuto?" She sputters, looking at the contact name.
"Mine is in there too. But I decided I'd give you his as well," I say, holding my neck in with hand. Gina smiles brightly and gives me a side hug. "Thanks a million!" She cheers, and leaves me standing in the middle of the hallway speechless. So this is why Yuto likes her....
Gina POV
After the...eventful encounter with Taesuk. I saw Junghee and Taesuk's manager in the elevator.
"こんにちは!" I say and bow towards the managers. I know they speak English but I didn't learn Japanese for nothing.
"Hi Gina! We didn't have a proper greeting — cause of someone’s temper —" he mumbles to himself before turning back to me.
"I'm Vincent!"
"Gina... oh wait you know that," I giggle, and he laughs with me. I turn to Junghee-manager and give him, Why did you leave me? glare. He returns it by holding his hands up and shrugging his shoulders at me. I roll my eyes and turn to Vincent, beginning to discuss ideas for the shoot.
"How about we shoot you in a big chandelier hanging from the ceiling! Or or on a horse!" He exclaims talking with his hands.
"No no no. I say we film it in a BIG ballroom and have my dress spilling onto the floor!" I squeal, using my arms as he does. The elevator door opens and we both put our arms down in disappointment.
"Well Vincent...wait wait let me get your number," I shove my phone in his hands and he chuckles.
"There. See ya~" he says and shoots me a smile
"Bye bye," I wave at him, and start to walk back towards my apartment.
Wonder where Junghee had gone? I ask myself, slowly kicking my feet out in front of me as I walk towards my apartment. I didn't see him exit the elevator, but that was probably because I was too busy talking to Vincent. He's probably just yelling at someone else on the phone I think to myself, shrugging my shoulders and skipping towards my apartment complex.
~~Time Skip~~
*ding ding*
I hear my phone on the couch in my living room and IMMEDIATELY run towards it. IS IT HIM IS IT HIM?! I wonder excitedly in my mind.
Manager-Junghee:3
"Arghhgggh," I grunt out loud, frustrated that it wasn't him. I had texted him almost 30 minutes ago, and still haven't gotten a reply. I open Junghee's messages:
Manager-Junghee :3
>You just really don't
want me as ur
manager do you?
>Fine. Have Vincent
as your new manager.
I tilt my head confused at his messages and reply.
Ummm...did I do<
something?
>yeah. Didn't talk to
me on the elevatorㅠㅠ
That doesn't mean I<
want to replace you LOL
>really??
As soon as I read Junghee's message my heart skips a beat as I read a new name that pops up on my phone.
yutoda<3
> Hey! Sorry I
Didn't reply sooner!
I was practicing.
It's good!<
But practicing
what?
>just...some rap stuff
Ooo you rap?<
>umm...yeah I do!
Just a bit tho
Wow I'd like to hear you someday!<
>LOL okay sure!
Next time you come
I'll rap for u.
A pop up comes on top of my phone:
*You have 3 new messages from "Manager-Junghee:3" *
> FINE REPLACE ME
> Ur probably talking to
him now!
>I know I'm not that
good of a manager
but give me a second
chance
I laugh at Junghee's messages and shake my head. "He's so needy for no reason," I say aloud.
>it's okay! I like
you alright?<3
I
send the message and slam my phone on my couch. I grab my ramen off the stove and pour it into a bowl before returning back to the couch. I pick up my phone and read the messages on my lockscreen.
yutoda<3
>I-I like you too<3
