Chapter 11: Chapter 9

Gina POV(ch9)

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*

*POUND POUND*

"GINAHHHH!" I hear someone shout from outside my apartment. I roll over and check my phone. "FREAKING 2AM REALLY COME ON?!" I yell.

*POUND POUND*

"GINAAHHHH!" the voice cries again.

"SHUT UP I'M TRYING TO SLEEP!" I scream back. I am not trying to mess up my first shoot. After I yell back the person stops, and instead I hear a loud slump onto the floor.

"Why am I a good person?" I groan, and throw myself out of my bed, messily throwing on a light jacket. I slump my way to the door, rubbing my eyes and opening it.

Apparently, there was a guy sitting on the other side, resting on the door before I opened it. When I did open the door, his head and torso fell into my apartment, leaving his legs in the hallway. "Ginaahh" he groans and half smiles.

"Yuto? 大丈夫ですか?( are you okay?,)" I gasp, dragging him inside and shutting my door. He doesn't reply and just stares at me for a bit, loopily smiling. "You don't like him right?" Yuto slurs. Of course he's drunk...

"Come on now. You didn't come over cause you were drunk and in your feelings—"

"NoOooOoooOo~" he whines, tossing his head from side to side. "I wanted to know if you actually liked meee~" he whines some more before pushing himself off the floor and stumbling onto his feet.

"I thought you were a nice girl Gina...but I see that you like to play with multiple boys...THAT'S NOT FAIR!" He suddenly yells, taking my shoulders in his giant hands and shaking me around. "What boy?" I ask, puzzled at who else I could POSSIBLY have feelings for.

"Taesuk-ahhh. I found out from him that you're doing a shoot together, and that you hugged him and I got jealous and hung up the phone then I saw you with him... かなしかった... (I was so sad)," Yuto blurts at me, shaking my shoulders until he lets go and mumbles the last bit in Japanese. I sigh and walk into my apartment, dragging him inside with me.

"Yuto you know I don't like Taesuk," I confirm as I push him to sit down on the couch.

"まじで? (Really?)" Yuto's eyes widen as he takes my hands and looks up at me from my couch— as innocent as a toddler. I get the opportunity to look down at his eyes, pleading that what he thinks isn't true.

"なじで (really)," I smile at him. Yuto smiles back at me and giggles, then pulls me to sit on his lap, and wraps me up in his big arms. "うれしい (I'm happy)," Yuto smiles as he speaks into my neck.

We sit there for a bit, rocking back and forth on the couch. He's so comfortable.....and warm....and cute...and just....I'm so happy right now. I silently smile to myself. When he blinks, I feel the soft brush of his eyelashes on my neck, reminding me of how soft he really is. My smile slowly fades thinking of how he must've felt when he thought I liked Taesuk. Even though there's no way I could've known, I still feel bad.

I turn back to face him and he's still wide awake, Yuto looks up from my neck to stare into my eyes before burying himself in his place in my neck. I place a soft kiss on his dark brown hair, and I feel him smile into my neck. I wrap my arms around him and semi-hug him before trying to pull myself away. Yuto tightens his grip on my waist and turns me around.

"We can't just have 5 more minutes?" He pouts, and I can see the pink in face from being drunk.

"Yuto...I have a shoot today...in like 3 hours I'm gonna have to get up again. I need to sleep okay?" I slowly speak to him and pull his arms away. "Finnnne~~" he pouts again and lays down on the couch.

"Just no Taesuk touch you tomorrow" Yuto slurs his words— his English getting messy.

"I can't promise that," I cross my arms, and look at him on the couch.

"Can you try to at least LIMIT it then?" Yuto begs me, looking up at me with those puppy dog eyes of his. I roll my eyes and scoff at him. "Fine" I say after ruffling his hair.

"おやすみ! (goodnight!)," I smile at him, starting to walk to my bedroom. Yuto gets up and follows me, and next thing I know he turns me around and pins me on the wall, both arms at the sides of my head. Yuto grins and looks down at me, making my breaths more scarce. He puts his face right next to mine, "I hope I don't forget this when I wake up" Yuto growls at me and pulls back. I feel my face get hot as I look at his shadowy figure right above mine. We're both breathing heavy and deep, the only thing you can hear being the melody of our breaths.

He puts our foreheads together, and I slide my arms around his neck. I look up at him for a moment, making sure to hold eye contact before I start to lean in, and soon feel the softness off his lips. I push my lips against his slightly and slide my hands up his neck to mess with his hair. Yuto slowly pushes his body against mine, pushing me deeper into the wall, like he needs me. Yuto slides his arms around my waist, hugging me, pushing his lips violently against mine. As the kiss deepens, I can taste the sweet taste of Soju on his lips, only making me want him more.

Yuto turns his head as he pushes his lips against mine one more time before pulling away. He smirks at me, looking me up and down, and mouths something in Japanese. I can't make out what he says but it's something along the lines of "how do I control myself." I give him an equal look, before walking away, leaving him wondering.

" Uh uhm....おやすみ! (Goodnight!)" Yuto finally replies, slowly walking back to the couch.

~~Time Skip to photoshoot~~

I didn't walk with Taesuk, I left earlier and texted him that I had to meet Junghee so he wouldn't bother to pick me up. I don't want Taesuk to get the wrong idea. As cute as he is.... I like Yuto.

Multiple people dress me in a beautiful lace gown with a tiara, multiple rings, and a necklace. The dress also comes with an extreme long trail, which I have people hold for me while I walk. I look at myself in the long body mirror and gasp, "holy cheese sticks" I gape and turn to look at myself from side to side. Those squats really have been working... looking good... I praise, nodding my head approvingly as I check myself out.

"You ready?" I hear the voice of Junghee not too far behind me. I find him looking at me in the mirror and I nod my head.

"Very" I bubble, smoothing my dress with my hands as the stylists fix me from behind. "You better be. You have to leave a good impression on this photographer. He shoots for big magazine companies and if you get on his good side, you'll be sure to get a bigger shoot!" Junghee exclaims, clapping his hands excitedly.

"I'll be sure to cooperate with all his suggestions then!" I smile, and watch Junghee's eyes disappear as he smiles back at me. "We should get going," he says, leading me out of the dressing room into the big ballroom.

The ballroom is beyond massive. It stretches from side to side almost as large as a football field, with a big chandelier in the middle. "It's magical" I awe, my mouth gaping at the beauty of the ballroom. My heart races thinking of how much it cost just to rent this place. Oh gosh I'm so nervous. I see the two staircases leading upwards, as Junghee takes my hand and guides me up the stairs.

The ladies holding up my trail walk behind me up the stairs before laying my trail on the red carpet. "Okay Gina!" The photographer yells from the bottom of the steps. "Act like you're the richest woman in the world and just bought your fourth company," he instructs. I turn and give him a haughty face and a couple poses.

"YES YES MA'AM," he praises. It takes everything in me to stay in character and not laugh or smile, but I manage to keep my emotions under wraps. "Thank you Gina!" The photographer says as he lets his camera hang from its strap around his neck. "Bring him in!" He yells at some people to the side.

From the top of the staircase, I see Taesuk, in a white suit matching my dress. His jet black hair is slicked back and he's wearing a tie matching the pattern on my dress. I watch him walk from the door to the stairs I'm standing on. Click click, I hear, and whip around to see the camera man smiling at me. “Sorry! You just looked so amazed I thought it'd be good for the shoot!" The photographer beams. I just nod my head once and go along with it, I hope that doesn't go in the magazine.

Taesuk smiles and stands next to me, "You ready rookie?" He teases.

"Please I'm better than you are already."

"Oh really?" He smiles, tilting his head.

More camera clicks sound. I start to turn my head to face the camera again before Taesuk takes my chin and turns my focus to him with his finger. I hear more faint sounds of camera shutters. Taesuk comes to my ear and whispers, "if you were professional...you'd know that you just act instead of receiving instructions."

I tense up, remembering my promise with Yuto. I step back from and play it off, grabbing the railing of the stairs, both arms spread out beside me and look at Taesuk. I'm instantly gratified by the sound of camera shutters. Taesuk copies my pose, leaning back on the railing with his hands lazily in his pockets. I turn away from Taesuk and look at the camera.

After a few more poses, I grab Taesuk's hands daintily, holding it up like he's walking me down the steps. I first look at him— making sure my eyes are dazzling, then to the cameras. Act professional Gina it'll all be over soon.

"Perfect!" The photographer yells as he checks the photos on a monitor. "Can we do a dance scene? SOMEONE COME TAKE OFF HER TRAIL!" The photographer screams. Four stylists quickly scurry around me, undoing the trail. One stylist fluffs out my now shorter dress, before leaving with the rest of the crew.

"That was... fast," I mutter to myself, admiring my new, shorter dress. "It's like that around here," Taesuk replies, walking up to me.

"You know how to ballroom dance right?" He asks.

"With my broom" I reply flatly.

"Haha! Well, close enough I guess," he half-shrugs at me, taking my hand and wrapping his arm around my waist. We start dancing and twirling, as if we were in one of those ballroom scenes in an aristocrat movie. Heck — I feel like a princess in a big ballroom. Then, absolutely glorious piano keys start playing from all directions — lightly, and delicately. This entire thing is surreal, I'm in Japan, modeling for a magazine, with a boy that is obviously very attractive — my thoughts are cut off as Taesuk spins me out with one arm. He smiles devilishly at me — his signature — and spins me back in.

"Ready?" He whispers in my ear.

"For?" I say back, leaning in so the cameras don't catch us talking. Right when I speak, Taesuk removes his hand from mine and places it on my lower back and dips me. My ears are filled with the sound of camera shutters as I look at Taesuk's eyes, switching my gaze from eye to eye as I'm held in his arms.

"Cut!" The photographer yells. "おつかれさまでした (good work!)" he screams again.

As soon as I hear the voice of the photographer. I push Taesuk off me and run to the dressing room, not making eye contact with anyone, but I can see Junghee from the side looking at me with concern.

I'm sorry Taesuk... I can't hurt him again.
