Chapter 1826: Trouble for sauce

"What now?" Master Peng looked at his wife and asked with a worried look on his face. "I wanted to serve these dishes to your guests but it seems like we will have to change the plans." 

His wife was working on a new project and she needed the higher-ups to agree with her idea or else she would lose her credits as well as the position that she had won with her own hard work. After all, there were a lot of people who were waiting for his wife to make a mistake so that they could gobble up her power and status. 

The mer wanted to make use of these dishes and win the hearts of the high-ranking officials such that his wife would be able to take control of the market situation. 

Who would have thought that the magic was not in the hand of the chef that they hired but the sauces that were given to them by one of their workers?
