Chapter 1750: Looking for someone

Second Grandaunt Yu noticed the bowl of warm porridge in Yu Dong's hands and said to Grandma Yu, "Look at this, you have such filial descendants why do you have to say such heartbreaking things." 

Before Yu Dong arrived, Grandma Yu was telling Second Grandaunt Yu how she wanted to die and not disturb her granddaughters and grand sons-in-law. Her words brought tears to Second Grandaunt Yu's eyes but what was she supposed to say to Grandma Yu? 

There were times at this age when one would want to quietly pass away in their sleep to not disturb their children. Even she and her husband had these pangs of depression once in a while when they thought of how they could not give a decent life to their children. 

Maybe if they had worked harder the fate of their daughters would be different. Maybe even their mer sons would be happy.
