Chapter 1717: Diverting trouble

Ding Xuelan felt her heart tremble when she heard the footsteps coming to a stop in front of her door. Even though she did not know who was standing outside, she had a feeling that there must be something wrong. 

Sure enough, the second the door pushed open, Ding Xuelan saw one of her friends from the village barging inside in a hurry. 

"Xuelan! You need to come and stop your father!" The woman said in a hurry. "If you don't stop him today he will seriously kill them." 

"Why? What happened, Sister Shao?" Ding Xuelan was surprised. In the past, her daddy had always put her first and paid attention to even the smallest thing when she was in pain. 

Never before had he done such a foolish thing as fighting with anyone when she needed him. What in the world happened for him to lose his temper?
