They have been passing through this vast plain of nothingness for an entire day. The air was dry and the humidity made them sweat buckets. She is saying that the entrance to the Uileag forest is here. But there is nothing there. They have walked through every inch of this area, but there is no door here as far as the eyes can see. 

At this point, he has lost all his patience. 

"It should be somewhere here…" Alexandra said, with a small pout. "Can you recognize your home, Theodus?" She turned and asked him. 

"This surely seems like the place," Theodus said. He was not sure. He was exiled and every memory of the way to the forest is scrubbed from his memory. He is not sure what is near them.
