Author: If you have any questions that you wish to ask you can always do so in the comment section, I read them all but for now I'm going to explain two terms I've used so I won't have to explain further on, if I miss anything I'll just explain them later on in the story, here's your story fact...
Crescent Talents, marks and creatures
Crescent talents could also be referred to as special talents usually used by renowned clans they help distinguish one clan from another. It is a special power that every disciple of each clan inherits through a special ritual done by the elders of the clan in other to preserve their lineage, it gives them access to some special kind of power each with their own unique style, people who inherits these talents are called Guardians.
Crescent marks are awakened along with their own crescent talent, they're usually in the form of normal animals alongside an elemental power. They form like tattoos on the Guardians' body.
Crescent creatures are just the elemental creatures associated with one's crescent talent, remember I mentioned crescent marks are always in the form of normal animals, those animals are referred to as crescent creatures.
Elementalists and Combaters
When magic was first discovered people thought that there was only one type of magic but it turns out they're actually two types, namely: Elementalists and Combaters.
Elementalists, as the name implies deal with elemental power. This type of magic requires the magician to draw elemental power from the magical plane using his/her mana or energy in the form of spells. There are four stages to elemental power, Elemental stage, Secondary, Tertiary, Ace and Barred. (I'll explain better later in the story)
Combaters are the type of magicians who do not need to draw elemental power from the magical plane, they don't use mana but chi and they are in the form of skills and not spells. Their six stages to a combater, Basic, Secondary, Tertiary, Master, Ace and Grand master. There are five other stages under each stage, which breaks it down to eleven stages in total but only the six matters.
Dark, Light and dimensional magic
We've talked about Elementalists but what about the dark, light and dimensional magic?
Well, there isn't any fancy name for any of these types of magic because a person who works with Elemental magic can also practice dark, light and dimensional magic. As simple as that and they work pretty much the same way it's just that Dark magic draws power from the dark plane, light magic draws power from the Luminant plane and dimensional magic deals with Time and Space.
