This advantage was their breath attack, which was just an unleash of a force. Or to be more precise, it was the burst element.

This burst element was like a shockwave without involving any flames. It was a pure generation of force. The first time the mongoose unleashed its breath attack, Krager only survived because his System had enough Mental Energy to avoid an instant death attack.

Similarly, when the scorpion unleashed the same, Neena had redirected the attack by turning it to face a nearby stalactite, which in turn ended up causing its death.
