Ssyba nodded in understanding. It was the same thing told to him by the Queen of the Night.

"He is also the one who showed us the future. A future where we would become something beyond what we are now. Being comparable to such as him..."

The same story which should end like this,

"Ability to travel anywhere and everywhere, control anything and everything, and unrestricted by the laws and restrictions. Undying and ever-living."

Ssyba finished his sentence as he took another spoonful of soup.

"But the price for such a future is not worth paying," Nuk said with a resolute face.

"It never is. It never has been. It never will be." These words came out of Ssyba's mouth unconsciously.

Ssyba put down his spoon and said,

"You have my respect. Many people have succumbed to the temptation of being something...higher."
