Chapter 64: Goliath.

The colossal vertical eye gazed upon the misty dome in a mocking glint flickering therein.

The mist swirled and churned. Black caterpillars drilled out from its surface and hung from the ceiling. Twisting upon themselves to form an impalpable string, they plummeted down towards the eye, like a hangman’s knot ready to deliver its final adjudication.

The vertical eye split open from its pupil. Fleshy tentacles dawned from within as they erupted into a swarm. Ready to devour anything and everything that happened to take a step into its boulevard of flesh.

The caterpillars of aversion and the tentacles of horror.

One descending from the heavens and the other ascending from the abyss.

Yet, the tentacles enwrapped them all in a carapace and pulled them inside.

And only the unending caterpillars screeched in a woeful lament inside the curtains of the void.

As intended, the cyclopean tentacles of loathing reigned supreme.
