Chapter 13: I've Failed You

Serina helplessly closed her eyes, turned around, and then smiled brilliantly at them.

Sammy hastened to her and subconsciously grabbed Serina's arm, "Serina, it's really you! Where have you been these past few days?"

Serina shook off Sammy's arm and said, "Sammy, my brother-in-law now. It doesn't seem appropriate for you to grab my arm, does it?"

When Sammy heard Serina call him "brother-in-law", he was stunned, "Serina..."

"And where I have gone has nothing to do with you. You are choosing the wedding dress with your bride-to-be. Don't let me see your crocodile tears."

Sammy said with an ugly look on his face, "Serina, I'm really sorry. That night I..."

"Stop! Don't mention that night. I just ate something, and I don't want to throw up." Serina crossed her arms and turned her face away.

Clara walked out in a wedding dress. Because of the long skirts, she had to carry some of the hem for it's easier for her to walk that way.
