Chapter 8: Chapter 8 - Who the hell is he?

As soon as the conversation between the two ended with Min-ho leaving the scene after challenging Yu-min for a duel, everyone were so shocked at that moment that their mouths were gape open for a few seconds.

"Wtf! Did he just accept a challenge from Senior Min-ho? Is he out of his mind!?" A male disciple who was watching the whole scene happening in front of him said out loud.

"Seriously, who the hell is he?" another one joined in to the conversation.

"Looking at his appearance, it doesn't seem like he's a disciple from here."

"But since he came with Song Ki-tae, they must be friends. So, he might be a new disciple here?"

In just a matter of seconds, a few group of people including male and female, started gossiping to themselves about Kang Yu-min and trying to guess his identity with the intention of finding his motive to provoke Song Min-ho, their senior in the Song Family.

"Why dawdle around? Let's just ask him ourselves." A disciple was out of patience as he suddenly stood up and started walking towards Yu-min's table.

"Don't bother!" A sudden voice came from behind and stopped him.

It was a female disciple who had distinct facial features that she was beautiful enough to attract anyone there. "This guy… he casually accepted senior Min-ho's challenge just like that. Maybe, just maybe… he is strong enough to take our senior on. Therefore, if you get on his bad side, we don't know what he might do to you. So, don't dig your own grave and let's just wait until the duel starts."

"Okay, Mira."

'Still, it would be a breaking news if the new guy wins and beats Senior Min-ho, the strongest of all of us."

One of the guys in the group said it as a joke but everyone became serious and nervous upon hearing his words.

"Hey, what are you talking about? Our senior is not so weak that he will get defeated by the likes of him. I'm sure it'll be a one sided battle." An another female disciple replied in an irritating tone.

"You're right. Let's see how much strong this guy is, compared to our senior."

"Hmm…"

Everyone started speculating on how the match between the two will end or how strong Kang Yu-min is.

On the other hand, Song Ki-tae sat next to Yu-min and spoke in a worrisome voice. "Sir, what have you done? Senior Min-ho is not a pushover like Byoung-chul that you defeated in the Artifact Hall. So, please reconsider on going there."

"Why? I thought you said outsiders are stronger than anybody over here. So, what's the big deal?"

Kang Yu-min is not the type to pick a fight with anyone he comes across, but since Min-ho challenged him head on and even provoked him a little, he had to accept the duel since his pride was on the line.

"It's not that, sir. I know you're stronger than him but he's persistent."

"What do you mean by that?" Yu-min asked while twitching his eyebrows.

"He isn't the type to give up so easily. So, when you fight him, you'll see."

"I don't know what you're talking about. But relax. It'll be alright." He said calmly.

"But…"

"No buts. Let's just eat. Ooh! This soup is awesome. Tastes like seaweed soup. My favourite."

Meanwhile…

At the entrance of the Lee Mansion.

"That Kang Yu-min… I won't let him get away with this. I'll exact my revenge somehow…" A young man mumbled to himself as he was walking towards the gate of the Lee Mansion aggressively.

He was wearing a red clothing along with a scarf on his neck which covered his face and has well developed body.

That young man was Lee Byoung Chul.

"Stop there and state your business here!" One of the guards watching over the gate blocked him.

"How dare you block my way? Get lost!" Byoung Chul said angrily as he raised his right hand to push the guard away from him.

But the guard immediately grabbed his wrist and stops him. "Little brat, what the hell do you think you're doing? This is Lee Mansion, not your playground. So, you should get lost!"

As he said that, the guard pushed him away aggressively and Byoung Chul went few steps back.

"Presumptuos! One after another, people are mocking me…"

"?!?" the guard had a perplexed look on his face after hearing his statement.

Meanwhile, an aura started enveloping around Byoung Chul's body "Who do you think I am? Do I look like a pushover to you, huh?" he grabbed the guard's arm with the same hand and started squeezing it tightly.

"Ahh! Let go of me, you bastard. Hey, lend me-"

Before the guard could say anything to another guard, Byoung Chul came at him at a lightning speed and kicked him hard enough that he ended up crashing onto the wall fence of the Lee Mansion.

Bam!!

Upon impact, some of the walls started cracking up and the guard was knocked out in an instant with his head smashed onto the wall.

Everything happened so fast that the other guard couldn't even react on time.

While hearing the commotion outside, numerous guards showed up quickly and surrounded Byoung Chul whom they couldn't recognize.

"Surrender, young man. There's no way for your escape."

"You f**king idiots… can't even recognize their own master, huh!"

"What is he saying?"

"Don't know!"

The guards looked confused upon hearing his words.

Byoung Chul couldn't tolerate it and removed the scarf from his face and showed them his swollen face.

"It is me, you airheads!" Byoung Chul shouted annoyingly trying to convince them.

"Pfft! Look at his face."

"Haha! You're right! So funny!"

Upon seeing his face, everyone started laughing at him.

He couldn't tolerate the humiliation as he snatched a sword away from a guard that was standing nearby and slashed every person that was pointing a weapon at him at an unimaginable speed.

The rest of the guards who were there for backup, couldn't move their feet to attack Byoung Chul as they were trembling in fear after witnessing his massacre.

Byoung Chul sighed as he was trying to avoid the bloodshed but he couldn't control his anger because of a certain someone and went berserk.

Afterwards, he took something out of his pocket and showed some sort of a badge to the guards while he was walking towards the gate. "I am Lee Byoung Chul, you idiots! Make way for me."

"Young Master?"

"Is he really Young Master Lee?"

They still couldn't recognize him because of the current face he had but they wouldn't dare say anything to him since they wanted to live and made way for him willingly.

"Welcome, Young Master!"

The guards then greeted him in sync while bowing down towards him.

"Kang Yu-min, you bastard! It's all because of you. I'm gonna kill you someday. Just you wait!" he said to himself in a resentful voice.

Arena Room, Song House

The Arena Room was inside a separate building of the Song House property and it looked more like a round stadium with an empty space in the middle while having sitting arrangements in the surroundings which looked like stairs to Yu-min when he arrived. It was like an auditorium plus stadium mix type of infrastructure in it.

The rumour about Song Min-ho fighting a new guy in the Arena Room spread so fast that everyone came to watch the duel. The room was filled with youngsters and there were a few middle aged men sitting at the top conversing with each other casually. They must be elders of the Song family and Song Min-ho was standing at the middle waiting for Yu-min to come.

"This place is nuts! Wow, so many people are here. Am I fighting a celebrity or what?" Yu-min said with amazement in his eyes.

"Sir, stop joking around. You still have time. Let's forfeit this match. It's not good for you to fight Min-ho." Song

"Don't sweat it! It'll be over in no time. Go and sit over there among the audience. I'll be right back." He slightly smiled and went to the arena.

Upon seeing Yu-min making an entrance at the end, Song Min-ho smiled and spoke. "You came after all. I thought you wouldn't show up since you took long to come."

"I was just thinking how to beat you properly. That's why I arrived late." Yu-min replied.

"Oh? Do you think you can beat me? I hope you don't get too overconfident, kiddo. I'm the strongest here."

'Kidddo? Is he mocking me?' Yu-min thought to himself with an annoyed expression on his face.

"Me? Kiddo? Hope you don't regret what you just said to me! I'll make you eat your own words."

'Kiddo? I'm mocking him with a different intention and he's fixated on how I call him? What a weird guy!'

"I can't wait to see that happen." Min-ho replied with a smile.

'But for some reason, this guy… pisses me off!'' Min-ho and Yu-min thought to themselves as they stride forward to attack each other at the same time.
