Reginald looked up when Jade suddenly burst into his office. He winced -- she certainly didn’t look her usual composed self.

“Is everything alright?” he asked.

She glared at him as she strutted to the seat opposite him. She didn’t look like she was in a forgiving mood.

“Reggie, have you heard from Arno yet?”

He tried to put up a brave front and nervously met her furious stare.

“Mm, no, I haven’t. But, to be fair, what can he do? Jackie is still in Vietnam, and Arno can’t sell shit until she agrees to dispose of the necklace.”

“Look, don’t speak like a fool! I don’t have a good feeling about this,” she snarled with a nasty frown on her face.

“There are just too many variables if you ask me. You’ve got to get Plan B moving as soon as possible!”

He nodded, wisely choosing not to argue.
