(Cringe Dump)
Three rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven rings for the Dwarf-lords in halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for itself destined to be forgotten,
And One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.
The whole thing fits at this moment because of me. You see, I'm not really a human being anymore and, current role of mine is very strange. I was created, as I understood, by an Orc. Probably some Wizard that wanted to create his own Ring of Power. I don't know what he used to create me, but I'm sentient and pretty powerful as I feel.
Well I need to explain. Who am I talking to? To the Orc who moves his mouth and does strange sounds. I'm at Middle Earth. Fictional world. That's all that needed to be clarified. I'm pretty special because I'm smart Ring and not made out of anyone's soul and at the same time powerful enough to at least create some minor magic like a little fireball to create a campfire. So that's pretty cool I guess? How I felt that? I don't know, I wasn't a magical Ring in previous life.
But it's a good feeling to be powerful. Like real good. Maybe it's because I had no Power previous life or it's just Ring thing that makes you feel powerful I don't know but back to the Orc. He was basic looking ugly Orc without armor or weapons so like a worker. Probably serves someone who wanted to make new Ring of Power. So probably Saruman and it would be pretty good to absorb at least part of his power. How I know I can do that? Because I already used some magic to somewhat bite into the metal thing that he holds me with and kinda corroded it a bit and still do.
Also you may be asking "Why do you know that you're the Ring of Power?" And answer is I don't know. I just know that I'm and I know that I'm sentient so that's about. And also I know about Middle Earth a little and as I can tell my personality really haven't developed yet so I pretty much only feel my instincts as a Ring to do something. Also I can see because... Yes? I'm not the one that knows everything.
Oh. Orc is showing me to some old man with long white beard and white robes. Saruman it is. It's expected so I will need to just wait. Hey! Stop being so harsh with me Orc! Okay. I will let you take me. Now, I stopped biting into metal so be not so stupid now. Saruman told something to Orc with his normal expression of nothingness and the Orc started to put me on.
And as you can see I already came quite insane while I was being created maybe because of magic that was used on me or something.
The one thing Rings of Power do best is corrupt. But corrupting is boring and unoriginal and slow. So thing that I will be best at is breaking people. Literally and mentally. Because breaking literally will increase my power, and mentally will make someone my slave. Best thing ever. Once Orc put me on I got access to his knowledge mostly Orcish and Basic languages. Which made me know what Orc and Saruman were talking about.
"What do you feel?" Strangely I hear everything like in reverb, but still Saruman asked with a little bit of excitement because... Well. I don't know because I'm not him and I don't know the timeline. Orc was about to start saying something when I bit his finger and started to absorb his power little by little.
It was expected that he felt some pain and other than that he would see nothing wrong but his hand was starting a to get little bit older. Something like an hour per second.
"I feel slight pain" He said visibly getting confused by this. Saruman was quite surprised to say the least and slightly... Happy? First time seeing Saruman happy but at least I know that I'm not the first Ring because of his surprise but my work wasn't done. When I felt I was strong enough I bit harder to get more power and then Orc's frowned and looked at me.
"It bit me!" Orc yelled out of pain. The bite wasn't really strong but was enough to bite through his skin and crack bone on his finger. Orc immediately grabbed me and harshly threw me off his finger and on the ground. Saruman strangely looked at me and picked me up. Maybe to inspect. He looked at me closely and then I heard a voice that wasn't like others heard like from the window and in reverb but like someone was talking in the same room as me. Of course it was Saruman's voice.
"Quite surprised to see a sentient Ring of Power. It's, of course, going to be a little conversation, but back to the point. What are you thoughts on being slave to me in exchange for you getting power?" Saruman said to me and I was quite confused how did he know that I absorbed some power?.. Why do I ask because he is a wizard he can see difference between almost powerless and on par with a bug... I think?
But still there was only one choice because if he created me he can destroy me and I'm almost nothing compared to him so I need to feed on his power that he can't see it.
"Accept your offer, I will." I said in unexpectedly Sauron-ish voice that made me sound like I'm a real deal. Saruman didn't even answer me and just started walking to his tower. Which was huge and bigger than a mountain. At least a small one. He was walking quickly and I saw that we were on a pretty hidden location not too far from the tower but not on blind spot. So probably timeline is like 20-40 years before the LotR plot because I can't feel Sauron that well and if he was around he would probably know about me already. And my point proved when he walked by pillar or something where was almost nothing except some red thing.
And now Saruman is next to some little chest and when he opened, it was full of rings. So this means he will feed me them making me somewhat stronger so I can be used more efficiently. And this is truly what happened and he threw me in the chest and waited. And like I'm gonna be against being powerful and I started absorbing. Nothing really happened besides that but I got to a level of a Human being I think? Once there was nothing but me in the chest he grabbed me and started chanting something.
Once he finished I got a feeling that I could be destroyed at any second which was concerning but probably his plan and he just walked to other room with some circles and started chanting and once he ended blue glow started to go from the circles and at that moment he said:
"Your job is to harm man with a name Gandalf. You will be sent to house of a hobbit that this man would be soon and his name is irrelevant. Now don't disappoint me." And then he threw me at the circle and now I was at the grass in front of the small door. And guess who got out of the house?
Bilbo Baggins.
I made this.
