Chapter 53: Chapter 53- A Deal With The Devil

“Hyaaa!” I swung the wooden sword and it was blocked by my opponent. I kept up the offense, not giving her any chance to attack. “What’s wrong Lady Claudia? Have you lost your touch?”

“If you keep talking…” Lady Claudia ducked beneath my swing and maneuvered around me. “Don’t blame me if you bite your tongue!” She swung her wooden blade and I quickly turned around to block the attack.

“Ack!” The shockwave traveled up my arm making it numb.

Lady Claudia easily knocked the weapon out of my hand and tapped the stick against my head. “My win.”

I sighed, “And I for sure thought I was gonna beat you.”

“It’s to be expected! I’ve been training with my family’s knights since I was young, of course, I would be better than anyone here!” Lady Claudia puffed out her chest.

I smirked. “Do I need to remind you that I have won against you?”

Lady Claudia frowned. “That was because you played dirty. I’m still upset that you dared to throw dirt at me!”
