It is the innate talent of the said race to copy other races' appearance. They can basically go undetected. Their language is extremely valuable since it is the key to identifying their race. 

"I will trade all of those in addition to a poem from the relics of a Runic Tomb." Zael offered.

This garnered even more attention from the crowd. They were wondering what a Runic Tomb is. However, this was not the case for the auctioneers. They were all aware of what a Runic Tomb is. This is why they were even more flustered and amazed about the offer.
