I watched my Ika as he watched a film series he has been following for weeks now.
The way his entire focus was on the TV was what caught my attention. It mesmerized me and held me captive.
"Mar?"
I blinked when he called me.
"What's wrong with you?"
"What do you mean?" To cover my embarrassment at having been caught, I retorted, making use of the angry tone I know he now associates with me.
"You have been staring at me for a minute now."
"Staring at you? I did no such thing. There is no way I can ever stare at you. You must have imagined that."
"I know what I saw. You were looking at me just now. Don't you dare deny the truth?"
"And if I was staring at you? Is there anything wrong with that?"
"I'm hungry." He said, instead of continuing with the argument.
"Go and get the food by yourself. Don't think I will get it for you like I did the last time."
