Chapter 42: The penthouse

My love for him wasn't something that happened when I was aware. It came all of a sudden. I wasn't even aware of when it happened. All I know is it did happen. And now, instead of reducing based on whom the boss is, it only increased. 

"I should have known this was the case. Initially, I suspected it. However, I thought Mar was the only one with such a feeling. I never would have pegged —"

He started laughing. 

"What's funny?" I furiously typed on my system. 

"The hatred amounted to love. Who would have thought?" 

"Don't you have something to do in the office? I must report your slacking off to Mar."

"Why? Go ahead and tell your boyfriend."

"He's not my boyfriend!" My cheeks grew hot in embarrassment. 

"Oh, and he's not my boss." Dozzy pursed his lips, "doing make it seem as if I don't know what's going on between you two."
