Chapter 96: Chapter 96 : Charlie's genuine wish

Charlie smiled sheepishly as he fiddled with her hair. The pinkish colors on her cheeks resembled a fresh ripe peach, looking extremely soft and adorable. 

She slowly walked toward us and sat beside me. "H-how is it, big sister?"

"That was amazing! I'm among those people who are clueless about music, but even I can tell that it was a splendid performance!" I rubbed her hair affectionately. "Charlie is very good at this. She can definitely become a pianist in the future!"

Her face's color changed from pinkish peach into a red tomato in an instant. "T-thank you."

"What was that song you just played?" I asked her curiously.

"That's one of Debussy's pieces, called Clair de Lune, which means moonlight in French. I trained so hard to get the notes and feelings right this past week. I'm glad big sister is enjoying it!"

Mrs. Walter chuckled from the side. "Look how excited you are. You don't even see us in your eyes anymore."
