Chapter 24: Chapter 024- Army
After assigning their works, Ling yun told Xia yuanba and Ling wan to leave. After they left, LIng yun signaled Xia qingyue come close to him.
Xia qingyue directly came to him and fell into his arms without raising any objection. Instead, a smile blossomed in her mouth when she sat on LIng yun's lap while putting her arms around his neck.
After Xia qingyue awaken the heart of the snow glazed glass, she has became very bold and decisive in her actions. When she realized the fact that she has affection for Ling yun, she herself took the initiative to confess to him.
Ling yun also accepted her love and they have been flirting with each other since then. Though they haven't taken the last step, kissing and hugging is now normal for them.
"It's hard see you nowadays. Don't be always busy with works. Try to take some rest as well. I will feel really sad if you jeopardize your health because of hardwork." Ling yun said with slight concern in his voice.
"Don't worry, I will be fine." She replied as she gave him a deep kiss and pressed her heavily curved body in Ling yun's chest.

When Xia yuanba was given the leadership of the whole army, he reorganized the army with help of the knowledge he got from Ling yun.
Now the whole army is divided into three main divisions. First division is 'Melee Division'. Second division is called 'Long Ranged Division'. Third division is known as 'Sky Division'.
There is also a special division which is responsible for delivering and looking after logistic related things. They are also responsible for taming the beasts from wild and breeding them to make them usable by the militants in combats.
First division is composed of 2 subdivisions - Infantry and Cavalry. All the soldiers in the infantry is given a sword and an armor. As for the cavalry, they are given a land profound beast along with the armor and a spear.
Note that, lowest level of the equipment given to the soldier is at least in earth profound realm. It was only possible because of the hard work of the group of smiths trained by heavenly sword villa.
After various trials and errors, they had managed to find a way to combine various metals present in the profound sky continent to create more strong and durable metals.
With those metals, it was quite easy for them to create high quality equipments. Not to mention, these equipments are also enchanted by the use of formations to make a soldiers defense and offense stronger.
Long ranged division is also divided into few subdivisions. Their main weapons are bow, crossbow etc. They are covered with armor as well but these are more lightweight compared to the previous armors. And these armors are also enchanted with wind element which would help the soldiers to move fast in the battlefield.
Ling yun also asked the smiths to try creating some modern weapons like gun, cannon etc that could be used by cultivators using their profound energy. But it would take a few years to mass produce them according the smiths' current progress.
As for the Sky division, all the soldiers in this division are given a flying profound beast along with an armor and crossbow. Even the beasts are also covered with armor from head to toe. These armors are enchanted with earth element, so it is very useful in defence.
[AN: Just a reminder, the bows and crossbows here aren't exactly like ours. They don't need to carry arrows with them to shoot. As long as they pour their profound energy into it, a arrow will automatically materialize. The strength of the arrow would depend on the person shooting it. Xia yuanba called the three division commanders and ordered them to keep 10000 troops ready for war at any given moment.

After spending some time with Ling yun, she went to her own chamber and called a person using the AV device. The person that she called is a branch manager of 'Shadow' who is responsible for looking after the spy network in Blue Wind Empire.
After making sure that the person understood everything, she hung up and went to her daily routine of drinking Ling yun's blood in order to increase her strength.

Xiao sect leader, Xiao Juetian is now breaking things left and right with a very angry mode. Just a moment ago someone came to inform him that the King is going to sell his kingdom to Ling yun.

After a few hours of journey, he finally reached the Burning Heaven clan and directly went to meet the clan leader, Fen Duanhun.
After hearing Xiao Juetian arrival, Fen Duanhun directly invited him to his office as both sat opposite to each other. First one to start the conversation was Xiao Juetian. "So, what do you think we should do?" Xiao Juetian asked
"What else left to do! You should prepare all your elders and disciples and I will prepare mine. The day Ling yun becomes king will be the day we will attack him and his villa. Even though the ancestor of the Heavenly sword villa is stronger than us, we should have no problem killing him if we act together." Fen Duanhun said.
"Also, we should send someone to invite Frozen Cloud Asgard as well. If they agree, it's good. Otherwise, we will make all those beautiful fairies our slaves after dealing with Heavenly Sword villa and Ling yun.
