Chapter 154: A New Chapter (6)

Kai was led into the massive estate where dozens of disciples sat cross-legged in quiet meditation. There seemed to be a sound-canceling barrier surrounding the Sect as Kai could no longer hear the loud hustle and bustle from the nearby village. 

"This is the outer court where outer disciples live, work, and cultivate," said the guide after noticing Kai's curious gaze. 

"Beyond those gates is the inner court where Master is waiting," the guide said as he walked up to another set of gates. Beyond the wall was the massive building with blue roof tiles.

The gates were opened, but the guide did not go in as he simply gestured for Kai to walk into the building.

Kai strolled into the splendid building. The walls were painted with murals of mountains, making it look quite unique, but other than that, there wasn't much to it.
