The Beginning of World Darkness
Moments before Imhotep's resurrection.
Alexander was in his tent, waiting for the Medjai to attack. I went out and looked at how quiet everything was, and the people were sleeping, for it was a long journey and an adventure that could end in tragedy.
Looking at his group, he comes across Evelyn, holding the book of the dead, as if in an epiphany at the moment, he understands that her presence in the world, may have caused a catastrophic butterfly effect, and along with that combination of several interconnected universes, so we are here with Evelyn holding the book of the dead well before time was predestined.
Approaching the woman who was trying to open an animated face the said book Alexander says, "Miss Evelyn, I thought you were different from your brother, and would not stoop to do such a thing, for a lady like makes a very disconcerting impression."
With a frustrated look Evelyn replied, "In agreement with my brother and O'Connell, this is called borrowing. And you sir, you are not helping us at all, why don't you give me an idea how to open this, as it is proving to be very difficult.
'I have to say, this woman and very tough, if she was a witch, I'm sure she would be very strong, and even more so with this thirst for knowledge, and wanting to be recognized.
"From what I'm seeing from the looks of it, he needs a key, I don't have one, maybe you have some idea what it's about?"
Having her face illuminated with a Christmas tree, for she remembered that someone had already asked her for a key, and so she opens the book, and when she does that, a breeze of air happens, light, but strong enough to blow the dust around. But that was all Evelyn felt, unlike Alexander, for when this book of the dead was opened, it seemed that all the evilest creatures he had seen in his life were nothing more than a baby. This book was very dangerous and very powerful, in the wrong hands, it could even destroy everything alive on earth.
'Worthy of such an artifact, I will soon have it with me, but it will be very well controlled and guarded. Since no one has appeared, then this is the time when the mummy will resurface. And it will come sooner than expected, but for now, it won't be in its fullness, so I can still protect myself, and that way whoever is in the dark running all this will have to show up too, for such a person doesn't want to reign in corpses, at least I think.'
"So miss, what does it say there?" Alexander asked, for despite knowing several languages, he still wants to see how the book uses magic to resurrect, and using magic that enhances his vision, so he can see magical elements acting, his golden eyes, shine brighter, this without bringing any suspicion, for he has a spell to camouflage such an event.
Then Evelyn begins to resound the chant, and around the whole city non-tangible darkness, in who only has magical power can see, evil magic begins to gather on top of the statue of Anubis, all with a funnel, begins to enter, and when the ritual chanting ends we can hear a roar, which I'm sure was heard for several miles, "Raawwww".
That way everyone wakes up terrified, without having much time to be able to discern what was happening, and a few seconds later begins to come to a cloud of locusts, one in which never seen before, simply giant, the ground like a volcano erupting thousands of beetles come out at once, and does not stop.
'It started, and that roar was very powerful, and him being like that, I'm sure just from the roar alone, in his weaker form he and as strong as me. That was a bit my miscalculation, so I have to act fast, for I don't want to attract the attention of those who are stirring their chopsticks in the dark'
"Evelyn, we have to get out of here as quickly as possible. Then let's go to the entrance of the tomb, you must give us protection from the locusts, quickly and call your brother, and the rest before it's too late."
And hurriedly, we all regrouped, and quickly entered the tomb, and so did the rest of the group of explorers as well, each in their desperation was heading in one direction.
'Now that we're in here, I need to make sure how strong and Imhotep, and also before he has eyes. Following a separate path, without anyone noticing me, I end up in an empty corridor, where I walk with my back to me, looking like a zombie, walking slowly, in a nonchalant way.
As if sensing my arrival, he looks at me, with that horrifying face of a mummy, and begins to speak, in the language of ancient Egypt, "You look different, I can feel it, you look like me when you were alive, come and help me recover, that way you will be honored to be my servant.
Looking at such being, and barely coming out of the world of the dead and has such kind of thoughts, without answering anything, I take out my wand, my companion for a long time, and in a hallucinating speed, I launch a 'Maximum Bombard' with all my power.
When it hits Imhotep, he is thrown into the wall and is torn to pieces. Without letting me breathe a sigh of relief, he rebuilds, at a very fast speed.
"Bastard, I will kill you, and when I have the book of the dead in hand, I will torture your soul beyond insanity and will kill you again."
"You and a resilient bastard indeed em, now let's see how you do against it". Putting together all his hatred, and also his intent to kill "AVADA KEDAVRA".
The green beam of the death spell went straight to his chest. He began to wither away, as if he had no nutrients, no life force, and crumbled to the ground, just dust.
"It's pretty hard to send that spell if you're not a crazy bastard or a psychopath. But it looks like he knows how to fake dying well. That's right I'll see you around Imhotep."
After Alexander came out, from the dust he lay on the ground, the mummy's body began to take shape, and out of it came an Imhotep, full of rage and more bloodthirsty.
"I will kill you, and in the worst way possible!" that was his cry, which by fate perhaps, only a man who was walking groping the wall, for he could not see without glasses, and in this way, he was the first victim of the mummy, who just came back to life.
