Lycaon couldn't believe him. He suspects him for lying. Old man could be lying to gain his trust. He was thinking way to make sure he was speaking the truth. First he should know who this man is.
"Who are you?" Lycaon asked.
The old man gazed at him. There was something going on in his mind. He was staring Lycaon for a brief amount of time.
"I am someone you don't know. But your mother does." The old man said. "Your mother is my sister's daughter." He then added.
For a moment Lycaon was contemplating what he said.
He then opened his mouth. "In that case your are my grandfather?" He said. He sounded confused and unpleasant.
"Looks like you are unhappy about it." The old man said.
Indeed he was. But was pleased to know someone from his mother side. He wanted to know more about his mother. How she was. Whether she loved him or not. There were many questions building in his mind now.
